Call of Duty 4 or Halo3 which is better?

my favorite is COD. Halo 3 is only fun if you play with people you know. COD it is fun to play all the time by yourself and with people you do not know.

how can you not figure out CoD 4 controls, thats like not knowing how to breath, and that the thing, H3 is too easy, online all it is is you shoot the opponent twice with the BR and smack them... and its the same thing over and over, where as in Call of Duty you can upgrade your weapons, gain advantages by becoming a higher level and you can call in air strikes and what not. and explain how Call of Duty is a simulator

ok it is more about game function, meaning i dont get the objectives.... either that, or i just suck at CoD games... probably both...

Thats a hard one for me i like both games! i think they were both nicely done. but non the less i would have to say Cod4 just becuase i like the hole die in a couple shot thing :P un like halo when you can take a barrage of bullets and walk away like nothing every happend :P. but i give credit to both games :) they both kick ass!

i like the graphics of COD 4 and the fact that people die when you shoot them(i play HC) but i like halos ranking system better

Got to be COD4 now with MW2 on the horizon as well this year will be a good one!

Out of the two games for online play, I have played both for well over 100 hours on different systems. Of the two Id have to go with Call of Duty and heres why,
- Different types of gameplay
- The Class System
- Ability to leave and join games quickly, without being punished
- Rank up more based on individual effort, rather then if team wins
- Better looks, and better maps overall (Hate doing snowbound every other map)

Halo is solid. I like sniping in halo much better then cod. Plus halo gets glitchy and laggy much more, which may have something to do with the fact COD can only have one player per box. If you have multiple friends over halo is the better game because you can all actually play it online, whereas COD you have to rotate.

And Modern Warfare 2 is probably going to own. Halo is becoming outdated, they need a new release.

Was never a fan of Halo 3 myself didnt see what all the fuss was about.

The only thing that bothers me on COD4 is the fu)king Juggernaut Perk.

Can ruin a game especially on Free for All when every other mug and there dog has it equipped.

Juggernaut only bothers me when Im sniping. Its mainly there to negate stopping power.
Last stand/second chance is pretty sweet in waw though, if you play with a group of friends you can all revive each other.

I must admit I haven't got into sniping yet still running and gunning on COD4

IMO COD4 is the better of the two games. If it would have had the ability to record online matches like Halo it would have been perfect.

It's very hard to compare these two games. They are completly different because one is set now and the other is set in the distant future. You can't really comapre them, you can compare their online (personally I think Halo has the better online features with the Double exp Weekends every week) I think the CoD4 ranking system is way better and less confusing than the Halo 3 system. But, Bungie has the closest relationship with its gamers than any other company in the business and I really like that. I think the Halo series has a sentimental value to most of us, including me. It is hard to compare because they are so different, but I think Halo 3 wins it out because of it's features not neccisarily its gameplay.

Halo 3 has an active production team to give them a great online experience. Call of Duty 4 is better as for gameplay, graphics, and game modes in my opinion. Halo is indeed a fun game but I really prefer Call of Duty 4 over Halo 3.

i like cod4 better.. the graphics are better and its more realistic...dont forget that its in modern day with real weapons...not laser blasters or gravity hammers (although those are fun to use)

PLus the Games identical to COD4, and it will empty out COD4s servers eventually, and thats why i give the Edge to Halo. No matter what happens, that game will be full of people playing it, and not a fad game like Rainbow six or COD.

Halo 3 is not a fad LOL!
The people that still pay COD4 like me are die hard fans of the game that play it because we love it and have stuck with it.
Halo fans just play because its easy to win and other people play it.
Juggernoobs arn't real if its in the game its ment to be used.... I still HATE it.
