How about trying to get the "I'm going to pull my weight and help the team win before this OME6A guy shotguns me in the face" achievement.
Once I get GoW2 (especially after just watching the game's trailer on E3), you can count on this being my motto... provided you will be playing GoW2, that is.
Well i guess no one put up something awesome bout the limited edition of GOW2 so i will.. If u get the Limited Edition of Gow 2 when u play multiplayer u will hav a............. GOLD PLATED LANCER!! Every one will able to see that its gold so thats goin to be cool and that ur goin to be able create ur own charcter is awesome!

Really? I could have sworn that I posted information about this GoW2 limited edition in the "Gears of War 2" thread... I pre-ordered my copy over the weekend. I even included a link so people could see what I was talking about.
Lol well they are adding a new bundle. Maybe you guys remember the Collector's Edition for Halo 3 that brought Master Chief's helmet? Well GOW is doing the same as well, except instead of like the COG helmet, it will be a lancer. I just hope it's not a mini one like they did with Master Chief's helmet

Gears 2 will use what's being called Linked Achievements. Players who played Gears 1 and completed Act 1 will be able to play as Carmine in Gears 2's multiplayer. If you killed Raam at the end of Gears 1 his character model will be available as well. There will be more Linked Achievements in Gears 2, but those were the only examples given.

Yeah... I just heard about this addition to Gears 2 on last night's episode of X-Play, which I just got around to watching this morning.
Actually makes me happy that I completed all of the difficulties in the first game... all of my hard work will finally pay off.

In the "regular" Gears 2 thread, I posted that Epic is going to be adding a violence "filter" to their upcoming game, so little Johnny doesn't have to be subjected to blood and profanity... making it easier for his mother to sleep at night.
You know, if the PG versions of the audio are as corny as some of the over-dubs in movies on TV, it may be worth playing through once with the filter on just for the lolz.
