What is wrong with the sound?
Is it just me or are all the sound effects in Halo really bad? ((Excluding the music))

I mean the guns sound so fake and the jeep sounds so lame. Dont get me wrong, im a fan but the sound kills me.

Godmoney will become famous soon enough
It's kind of always been like that in Halo. Unless you have it turned up really loud, it just seems like the sound affects are second to the music. The SMG seems so quiet to me, it's rediculous. You're shooting this sub machine gun. It should seem like it's just tearing **** up, but it sounds like nothing. Like it's a pellet gun, or airsoft gun.

I remember it being like that back in Halo 2.

I love how in halo 2, this big guy can use this tiny gun and have a **** load of push back, four shots and im looking at the sky

i prefer the sound in games like Quake or Black, where you know your firing a large caliber gun by the amazing SFX
