| I REALLY REALLY recomend 'Splosion Man
Its one of the most fun platformers I've played in a long time, and really brings back that feeling of playing super mario bro's the first time, or Duke Nukem 1+2, Just pure fun, with simple controls.
And not to mention theres a buttload of pop culture refferences in the game, and it doesn't take itself seriously at all. Perfect for anyone thats a fan of the old school games.
But if your looking for current platformers, I would say any of the ratchet and clank series is a good choice. Dont really know of many more, I guess Mirrors edge could be considered a platformer of sorts, and I found that game to be alot of fun. Even though the fighting is a little difficult, The first time I ran through the demo I knew the game was for me.
