I would have to agree with you on this one. But Ram did suck on Insane level.
Yeah Raam is disgusting on Insane. That kind of spoiled it for me because I had to youtube a solution. But the rest of the game goes from being pretty good to freaking awesome when you crank up the difficulty, IMO.
I really look forward to GoW2, but I can never say that Raam was the biggest issue in that game, although I do enjoy the endless laughter that I shared with Creep when we tagged Raam in about 30 seconds with a dozen or so torque bows. The cheapest/hardest part of that game was the open courtyard on the 4th level, I believe, where you must navigate a courtyard with therion guards (sp?) and then you meet up with one of the huge beasts while fighting off numerous other beasts. Great game all in all, but after beating the game on all three levels, I was happy to bid it farewell.
I'm probably going to rent this, I didn't really much care for the first one. I just don't really care anything about battling aliens, to me it just isn't that realistic. I'm probably one of the few 360 owners that doesn't like Halo or GOW.
How does one even know what to do with such pirated software?
Selling them for way more than the $60-70 retail price would be my first guess... they should punish the guy with a good ole fashioned curbstomping, if you ask me. Same goes for the jerkstains spreading around the game's ending video over the intenet.
It's pathetic. I wonder how much money Epic/Microsoft is out now because of all the pirated copies being circulated. I hope all of these losers are caught and thrown in jail.

I think it would be excellent if Microsoft bought Epic. Then they could call themselves Epic Microsoft.
Anyway... I'm not a pirate, I'm proud to say, (well, I'm a reformed pirate, anyway) but I really won't be losing any sleep over Microsoft losing a few quid. People are always going to pirate stuff, people have been doing it since I used to copy Spectrum tapes on my Hi-Fi, and certainly people did it before then. If time has proven anything it's that a) there is nothing you can do to stop it, b) that one pirated copy does not equal one lost sale, and c) that nobody is going to go bankrupt because of it. So, yeah, it's a shame it's been released in this way, but it's likely that most of the pirates wouldn't have paid for a copy anyway.
The whole thing about DRM on a PC these days has really got out of hand, and with things like Spore I'm actually glad that piracy exists and that Spore was released to torrents before its release date. I'm disgusted that EA think it's fine to basically rent you a game for full price, and I'll never support that kind of thinking. To hell with them, and the sooner they realise people won't stand for it, the better.
Also, I'm going to make an assumption here, and it may be wrong, but my assumption is that not everyone here is 100% legit. Unless you paid for your copy of Windows, unless you paid for your copy of Office, unless you paid for Photoshop, if you have ever downloaded any music you've not paid for, or copied a CD from a friend, etc, etc... then you really have no right to moan about people pirating video games.

I am...I didn't buy Halo 3 for the gameplay, nor did I buy Kingdom Hearts 2 for the gameplay. The storyline is usually what interests me simply because video games, no matter how hard the hardest difficulty is, are not really a challenge.
