See I can buy another system easily I could buy another 50 systems but I wont because they will get my money for no apparent reason. I sent the thing in and it breaks again so why should I play there damn game.

Nothing last forever, yes that's true but it should last a decent amount of time though. Do you buy a 800-2000$
computer going hey it wont last that long?? I spent what 300 or 400 on xbox thinking alright cant wait to get my hands on gears of war or halo 2 or 3, then bam it breaks in less then a year then I sent it in and it broke with in a month. I wouldn't have gotten so angry if I got some life out of it.

Er... yes. Do you know how long PCs last before becoming obsolete these days? I only wish I could get 5 years life out of a graphics card like I would a console. It's more like 2 at best before the damn thing starts struggling and requires an upgrade. Microsoft actually have a damn good warranty (now). Most electronic gizmos will only give you a year of warranty. If it breaks after that, you're screwed.

Not sure if I should be happy this is out or what. Haven't played the first one yet, but I've been getting messages saying 'get gears' from a friend once or twice a week for a while and with another one comming out it going on 'forever' does seem likely unless I break down and get it. Guess its a good think in some ways though if so.
If you like shooters with your sci-fi, it's not a game to be missed. The story's so-so, sort of a combination of Rambo + Terminator + Them, but the art direction, sound, gameplay and concepts are stellar. 8.8/10

Back on topic, I loved the first Gears and played the online for a really long time as that was my only online game. I'll have to pick up Gears 2 and get busy snipin' some heads online.

Why get upset when you have an extended warranty? Sure, it made me upset when my 360 broke down the first time... but not upset enough to "punt" it across the room. Grow up.
