I'm not sure if anyone else has been looking at this, but Half Life 2: Orange Box comes out 10/9. I'm not big on Half Life, in fact I've never played it before, but it comes with 5 games for $60.
One of the five games is called Team Fortress 2, and that's what I'm getting it for. It's a fun, cartoony looking class-based online shooter. Kinda like XIII from the PS2, if you ever played that, but way better.
I'll be trading in Halo 3 for this, so you won't be seeing me on Halo after it comes out. Halo looks great, and the campaign is awesome, but multiplayer is garbage. I've never played a more rediculous game than it.
I've been watching it.
I've played Half-Life ( PS2) & Half Life 2 ( XBOX ) . The stories are great and the Graphics for Half Life 2 on the OG XboX was some of the best visuals and sound effects that came out on that console.
After looking at it I'm a little confused with the 3 part versions of Half Life 2 ????
The Multiplayer Team Fortress game looks cool . The graphics look different from what I'm used to with the Gordon Freeman story line.
The graphics do remind me alot of XIII, you don't see much cell-shading graphics that much.
I'm also waiting to see how Mass Effect is since it looks like the best thing since Star Wars: KOTOR 1 & 2 . I love Sci-Fi Games
Playing Halo 3 is like eating a Double Quarter Pounder w/ Cheese from McDonalds everyday.
If Half Life OB gets good MP Reviews I'll pick it up. From what I remember the weapons from Half Life 2 are pretty Spiffy. I've been playing games with excellent SP and really bad MP ( The Darkness , Stranglehold , Halo 3 ) so I must be a little stand-off-ish.

i've heard about this team fortress 2... i've played half-life and this is a very great game...well Team fortress 2 looks great i think...and more challenging game... **The highlight of Team Fortress 2 is definitely the variety offered by its nine different character classes.
Looks like you get alot of bang for your buck with this.
I wasn't quite sure what was up with the expansions ( Story Wise ) being that I beat Half-Life 2 on the OG XBOX 2 years ago but now I get it.
I can't wait to see how the graphics and especially the sound effects hold up after 2 years. Half-Life 2 was one of the best games on the OG XboX
Team Fortress offers up 6 maps with 9 different playable characters, but has no Team Deathmatch.
I'd love to get this game, but my gaming time has been extremely limited these days.
I'm still not sure on this game... I've heard from several people that it's an awesome deal for what you get bundled in this Orange Box, but a friend that I was just on the phone with suggested that I run through Halo 3 before I possibly trade that in for this Orange Box.
Not to mention it scored really, really well in the new OXM magazine... they gave it a 9.5, which must be some kind of honor when they (shock) scored Halo 3 a perfect 10.
To be honest, I am still undecided and I think I honestly don't have the time for playing so many games right now.
Sorry I had to bail, gotta get up early tomorrow. It's hella fun. Catrino and Gunner have it, as well as Loone. If you're playing alone, avoid rooms with more than 8 people, they're usually laggy.
