It's just Banjo Kazooie in various vehicles. If you like BK, it's well worth getting, it's a fantastic little game. If you never played BK just imagine Mario 64 with vehicles. And a bear and bird.

You can, yeah, but it's a bit counter-intuitve to do so, as it's completely designed around the fact that you can travel around in vehicles. It's more or less the same deal as other platformers though, with a massive hub world that you can explore, and then loads of other worlds that link to it which you can also explore. I kind of just went straight to all the missions though, I'm not the kind of person to go into every nook and cranny to find every single jiggy. But you can do it if you're that way inclined. Saying that though, I did feel encouraged to go through and replay levels I'd already finished to get a few extra jiggies, which is pretty rare for me, so it definitely comes recommended.
