After reading several reviews, I'm actually thinking about putting Fable 2 on my gift list for the upcoming holiday... there will only be three games on my list, and it's looking more and more like this will be one of them.
Fable 2
Fallout 3
Scene It: Box Office Smash (especially with the new dashboard update)

I agree...that it is a game that I would most likely put on my list for the holidays...but it isn't something I would rush out to get at launch.
I just got back from gamestop and was going to buy this game, and just my luck gamestop was sold out. I was like whatever so I went over to BestBuy, they were also out. Wasn't getting to pissed yet since I had like 3 more stops to go. I eventually got to F.Y.E and this little gaming store who were both also sold out.
By this time I was getting pissed, and wanted to cry. My last stop was WallyWorld. WallyWorld's got everything and I couldn't imagine they sold out of Fable 2. I looked through the games for like an hour and couldn't find it so I asked someone. When the guy told me they sold out, I was in such a rage I wanted to punch that guy in the face for no reason at all.
I'm not going back to the Mall for like another week or so and I don't think I'm gonna have enough money left to pick this up.
A whole thread that contains mostly about disappointments, as well as extremely unprofessional devs replying to it all.
Eh, don't even bother with co-op as of now. All I hear are bad things. If you play solo, you'll find nothing but good things come in Fable 2.
The only thing I noticed that I don't really like is the lack of new upgrades. It's the same three choices, strength, skill, and will. Will practically has all the same magic, and both the other two pretty much have the same upgrades as the first one. It's a great concept, but I figured something new would be added.
The story seems to be playing out really well. It's a lame fairy-tale beginning but it's good nonetheless. It links into Fable 1 with the heroes guild and such, and I'm not far in at all (I only got like an hour and a half to play) but there are plenty new additions and cool stuff. The dog is freakin awesome, btw.
I'm getting a little worried that I'm nearing the end of the game already. I'm on a quest and it's telling me do all the things you wanna get over with now because once you start the quest you won't be able to get out of it. It might just be a long quest or something but it better not be the end already. I really haven't been playing the game long enough for the main questline to finish.
Also, I love this game to death and all the new things that are in it. However, it was hyped up to be SO much more than it seems. I'm not disappointed because it is a bad game. The game is absolutely amazing, but the hype was definitely more than it should've been.

If you just play straight through the main quest, it takes you roughly 7 or 8 hours to beat.
Well, I just got a wife and a kid and "accidentally" cheated on her. Whoops.
Too bad she was right in front of me when I did it. LAWLz. At least I invited her to join in.... Right?

Graphics are unbelievable very impressive besides the glitch with the quest finding the abbot in Oakfield lol....
I wouldn't say that they are unbelievable, i've saw better graphics. But the game is really fun!
I just have one question (Actually a few), why the hell can't you jump in this game, why is there like an invisible wall around edges?! why do i have to press a damned button to jump from a ledge?!
