Holy cow. 10/10 from Eurogamer. Perhaps I will buy this after all.

As an aside, I'm not sure whether or not to be worried or excited at the amount of perfect scores being bandied around lately. Up until about last year I can remember about two, ever. Those being Zelda on the N64 and Soul Calibur.

Still, Fable II does look awesome. I'll be seeing if it's worth a 10 sooner rather than later, hopefully.

Lucky me I have one class tomorrow and it ends at 9 =p. Then I wait for my friend to get out of class at 11 and gimme that whip lol.

More stuff has been dropped from the CE version.

Back a while ago...these things were taken out:

premium box
five printed fate cards
Hobbe figure

Now leaving this:

* Fable II game disc
* Bonus DVD with new ‘Making-of’ Feature
* Bonus in-game content (requires Xbox LIVE®)
o ‘The Hall of the Dead’ Dungeon
o ‘The Wreckager’ Legendary Cutlass Weapon
o Spartan armor and energy sword


Today....a lot of the CE versions that were sent out did not include Bonus in-game content. That was taken out as well.

All that is in most LE games is the game disc and Bonus DVD.

This game and LittleBigPlanet received perfect scores on last night's X-Play episode. Just more proof that all of the great games are being released right after one another. Sounds like an interesting premise... almost makes me wonder why I never got into the first Fable game after I watched this review.

I've been reading up on this a lot. I cannot wait for Friday. I've taken the day off work (call me sad, I don't care) and i'll be buying this, deadspace and farcry 2.

This made me laugh, from a review:

Deciding to put off questing for that rare treasure you've been seeking for weeks on your one day off from real-life work because the townspeople want your blood for overcharging, your wife is pregnant with your third child and she wants more money and nice furniture for the family, your ex-wife is sleeping with the blacksmith at the store you own, and your first-born son is attacking the neighbor's chickens with the toy sword you gave him.

It was announced that it would be ported to consoles in due course. I think the very shady date was around Q3 or 4 '09, but the PC version is still on schedule. I don't have a source I'm afraid, it was a while ago I found this out.

Which is somewhat good, because I haven't played my PC in ages, partly due to nothing being out and partly due to DRM outrage. So I'm happy it's out on console, but it's also somewhat bad, because it would have drawn me back to the PC in all kinds of ways. I'm so looking forward to it.
