I was just wondering if the demo is actually the same as the beginning of the game, just shorter of course?
I love the demo and was playing it for hours the other night once I started getting new shovels and whatever, but the game doesn't seem as addicting as people say. I was expecting me to be running out to the store a buying it as soon as I put the controller down.
I know for a fact I could play this game for many hours, but I think I would get bored after a while.
Is the game better than the demo for those who have played both?
PS: I was about to get the game last night after talking to E.Writer a few days ago but I had a hardrive failure on my PC so I need to keep the cash and figure something out.
I'm not sure. The demo JUST came out, and I had the game before the demo, so I can't tell you.
But, I dedicated this whole weekend to VP, and I have 5 more achievements left to go, tamed all of the sour pinatas, I just got a Chewnicorn, and I'm at lvl 56, and like 8 more pinatas and I would have had them all.

Almost done :)
Just wondering: How do you get a bigger garden?
I'm not sure how to do it, or even if it is possible on the demo but the garden is really small from what I have seen so far. I'm sure it gets bigger at some point in the game?

The more you "level up", the more land you get. I'm almost certain that the garden land expansions end once you reach level 21.
My bet is that the demo doesn't go far enough for you to get either of the land expansions... simply because you unlock two achievements for the two land expansions that you get.
When I first hear about this game, I thought it sounded rediculous. Out of curiousity, I checked the playable demo out. I bought the game the next day.
It is soooo strangely addictive, and finally a game my wife enjoys playing.

The Garden Helper with the watering Can on her head is strangely fascinating.
Happy Gardening !!!
The enjoyment out of it from The Wife is always a Good thing. Back in the day I'd get my past Flames hooked on the Ecco the Dolphin series.
Thanks for the quick reply! I was wondering if anyone still has it.
I've been playing the 2nd installment of Viva Pinata on and off as of late just to chill out. Finally got a chance to get the hang of it since I bought my Xbox... I love it.
