All these racing threads and there's no TDU, lol. Anyway, who's going to get it? There's going to be over 1,000 actual miles of road that you can free-roam on. It takes place in Hawaii. There's over 100 cars to choose from. This game is a new genre of game, MOOR, Massively Open Online Racing, which means there are will be over 5,000 people in one server, on the island of Hawaii. A developer said that it took 2-3 hours for him to get from one side of the island to the other. There is also cops in the game, and you get tickets when getting pulled over.
I saw the trailer. It looks really cool. Beautiful graphics, and we can see inside the car. The X360 version looks better. I only have a PS2 but I hope they work also on the current-gen console. I can't wait. The Ferrari F430!
I downloaded the demo a while back. Its pretty cool. A few things bother me, but considering its a demo Im hoping they will be resolved when they game is released.
Handling is pretty lame, its pretty similar to any other arcade racer. The graphics are pretty good, everything is extremely reflective and bright. The sound is phenomenal. For the first time, I think a video game actually got the sound of a roaring engine right. This game has a really good in car camera. Oh and get this.. you can put the windows up or down and actualy hear a difference! Handling and driving are probably going to be just as lame as any other arcade game (pgr,nfs) but the MOOR thing is too cool to pass up. No damage either.. :(
No damage, but that would mean we would need our car repaired which take money. Say if you just want to mess around, and accidentally crash or something. You wouldn't want money coming out of your bank just for messing around.

The Game Play is awful, crashing doesnt brake anything.
As for the cops, your car stops once your caught. Like wtf is that about? In need for speed you stop and a meter starts right? Well, in test drive it makes no sense, crashin once just makes the car stop going off road. Sometimes this is bad because you cant drive on the off road terrain.
My Rating For This Game Is 4/10

Well, with street tires driving off road is really bad because you don't get any traction at all and at high speeds that works against you even harder so not having any control over your car if you drive off the street is realistic.
As for the cops catching you first stop, that is pretty weak.
An MMO racing game? That's almost as bad as GTA online. I mean, it's fun to drive around in a simulated city... But imagine EVERYONE racing around? It'd get a bit ridiculous.

But EVERYONE will just be experimentin and driving around crazy for fun. I udnerstand it'd be sort of realistic but it'll be one huge city full of street racers, a ton of street racers. People drifting around every block lmao.

If it's the whole distance of Hawaii, I'm pretty sure you will be seeing less people than what you imagine there will be.
If it is really like the real hawaii, then 5,000 people will be nothing. Well actually, those 5,000 people will all be driving...fast..Yea, that could be something actually :p.
