so what im saying is, that i do not mind the flak vest idea i just think that before they can put in protective gear they need a health system like socom one and then as u carry more protection a bigger health bar grows but your weight does as well
and deffinalty we'd need more dlots for items because two is not enough ecspcialy since the vests would become an absoltu mandatory for any chance of survival
ans also they would need to blance out the weight system better, like two grenades really dotn weigh all that much , cuz u can clip onto your vest or your belt and pretty much forget their there

There won't be vests in multiplayer (32 player) and you guys know that you would hate it if there were. I can see it now "That newb is wearing a flak jacket!" "Socom CA sucks! They should have made it like SOCOM 2!" "He takes so many hits," "Well yeah hes wearing a flak jacket". The Flak Jacket would become the newb option. Everyone would hate it as it would drastically alter the SOCOM gameplay we know (not saying SOCOM 3 didn't do that a little with its huge maps and vehicles, but the player to player interaction -a.k.a. fragging eachother- is still the same concept).

On the subject of flak vests;
On SWAT 4, you have the choice ov heavy or light armor (flak vest). If you choose the heavy, you get more protection but run slower, and obviously the opposite with light armor.
Maybe if they incorperated that in CA, it would help?
I dont really like the idea of flak vests is SOCOM at all, but I would think that might be a good option if they were to put it in there.

People still gripe about hit detection now, and how many bullets it takes to kill somebody. I can't believe the crap you would hear if they had flak vests.

If they did include flak jackets, they should have restrictions on the weapons you can carry. Like no assault rifles or no machine guns. Something simple and effective to balance it out.

no assault rifled w/ flaks? thats wack, then flaks can only carry...pistols? shotguns? subs? just make the guy slower. anyway, ima buy this game for sure. the co-op mode sounds very nice. and having 15 missions instead of 12 makes it better.

All Kevlar ( Flak ) vests that are employed in the US military are designed to not only stop shrapnel, but also 7.62 mm rounds fired from the Ak family of rifles

socom 2 was just a socom 1 with different skins, maps, etc. Socom Combined Assault has a whole new feature: co op. So it isnt like socom 1 to socom 2. Socom CA assault is a whole new game. Get your facts straight

How bout no grenades, or any misc weapons no assault rifles is taking it too far. I hope a couple of grenades dont weigh you down like in socom 3. arent seals trained to carry crap like that
