STG 77 vs F90?
Which is the better gun?

Well I personally never use f90s unless the opponent uses gls or f90s.
IMO the f90 is better because its such a good noob weapon...but what do u think.

F90 are you kidding.. F90's are terrible both in firefights and long range. I have seen people aiming at the feet and get headshots due to the spray. Stg > F90 Anyday of the week no doubt in my mind..

STG if you are going medium/long range for sure. F90 is too unreliable unless the enemy is right in front of you (more or less); I shot 49 bullets out of a 50 round clip into a dude on Citadel last night at about 6-7 meters and didn't hit him until #49 (which thankfully was a headshot!). I was only strafing a little bit, definately would've had him much earlier with a slightly more accurate gun like the M14/HK36. A different time using the F90 I got 4 headshots in under 10 bullets (the SEALs I was shooting at were all bunched together!). It seems like more luck than skill with F90 but that doesn't make it any less fun to use

Anyone have thoughts on the STG vs RA-14? Why bother unlocking the STG when they seem to have the same stats but the RA-14 has a faster fire rate...

I still can't believe there are still Threads like this being provided for people to answer. I've seen over 4-6 of them all describing which weapon is more capable of striking enemies down the best, and what attachments make it worth of better use. In my opinion, we should make another section on Socom III Forums for just weapon discriptions, and what attachments go well with whatever weapon you've personally chosen. What weapons are best to have available on any certain map, etc. (I think I'll post a Thread indicating that suggestion on the "Site Suggestions" section.) But, I'll answer this Thread since I don't have anything else that important to take care of at this moment in time. For myself, I would say both because, I like to use the STG-77 and the F90 when my M14 is down for a rest. Listed below are some extra information about the STG-77, and the F90. Maybe that can help you out on your choice of weapon a bit more?

Well form this two gun the STG77 dominates. It can do great at long and close range. Also its more accurate and more powerfull than the F90.
