For those of you out there that own an Xbox 360, I'd seriously suggest that you pickup the new Saint's Row demo... it's available in the new OXM Magazine, or if you preorder the game from EB Games/Gamestop.

I played the demo last night, and I thought it was much better than I originally thought it would be. The driving controls seemed a bit loose, but that could be attributed to being a demo, of course... other than that, I thought it was a pretty damn good GTA "clone".

The amount of character customization in the final version should be above and beyond what was found in GTA: San Andreas.

Check it out for yourselves... you won't be disappointed!

You bastard , I have to wait till Tuesday to download it. Im hoping we could play the demo online at that point...as I hear the current demo is off-line only.

This could be the breakthrough game of the year for the 360. GTA online? How much better could it get. The videos and screens look amazing.

I could ship you one of the two Saints Row demo discs that I currently have... but you probably wouldn't get it before Tuesday, anyway.

I'm pretty sure that you'll really like it, veins... I suggest that you explore the available world (although it's limited, due to being a demo) while you play the missions that are currently available... try going into the liquor store, and you'll see what I mean.

Well... I gave one of my extra Saints Row demos to an old friend yesterday afternoon on my way home from work, and we both found something extremely funny with this game.

Let's say that you carjack a car with two people in it. The person in the passenger seat starts screaming as you take off in the car... so the two of us start barrelling down the street, ram the car into the side of a building, and the dude (or woman, I can't remember) flies out of the car's windshield.

LMAO!

Same goes for cars that you have a head-on collision with... they'll go flying through their windshields!

The physics in this game are simply amazing!

Yeah... the one that I got in the mail last week had the Saints Row demo... as a matter of fact, it was the ONLY playable 360 demo this month.

According to veins, the demo for this game should be downloadable today or tomorrow via Xbox Live...

Trust me... if you like the GTA series... you'll really like what this game has to offer.

The game developers said that they modeled the city of Silwater after parts of Chicago & Detroit... that friend of mine (and myself, for that matter) agreed that certain parts of the city totally looked like parts of Chicago!

Of course I think it's that good... I don't go throwing out statements like this for every video game that's remotely like a Grand Theft Auto type game.
