Just bought S2... Anything I should know?

I have been a Socom 3 player since August when I recieved the BETA copy... All my friends have been telling me that online play is much better in Socom 2 so I decieded to go out and buy it since most of my friends play Socom 2. The only big dissapointment I found was that in S3 you had to verify your account to access the full online feature which was a major letdown because I don't have any credit cards.

I was wondering if there's anything I should know before I play my Socom 2 game...???

No, nothing to worry about. It's just a different concept than SOCOM 3. IMO, it's much more fast-paced and fun. You need skills in this game.

Don't go into the E-SEALs rooms or into rooms that have Guidance with a respawn because that is all rankups.

Play respawns until you get the hang of the weapons. They fire much different in s2, as well as a lot slower.

its free no hassels ummm yea goto respawn rooms (non-ranked) ummm and play all the maps and use all the guns to get use to it

#1 thing to know before stepping onto the Socom II Battlefield, is to realize that Socom is about having a kick-a$$ time! Screw rank, and what-not..just head out there like a bada$$, and retrieve some kills/skills! (Respawn is going to want to be your first option of choice though.)

there arent as many snipers in sc2 and a lot of people rush. as they said before just play respawns till u get the hang of the weapons. try to find a frost fire(ff) cause that map has the most action and is the smallest.

and if you play in ensigns only you probably wont be able to play in crossroads or fishhook unless you play in the morning. because the clans in their vote out anybody not in their clan.

watch out for code9 and cobra players, or whatever cuz those cheatin losers are really annoying and screw up the games

Remember, when you see someone with the tag [code9], there MAY JUST be a chance they have it.

So watch out, I just leave the room if I see anyone with that.
