Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (360/PC)

I've read some reviews and this game seems to be one of the best rpgs ever, but I'd like to hear some more opions if you don't mind. Please don't spoil too much. Also do any of you have it for the PC? I want to get it for the pc, but I'm not sure if it will run on my pc.

I heard it is amazing. However, it isn't online. I don't know about anyone else, but if an RPG is not online (MMORPG) I just find them boring and repetitive. Eventually you get bored of playing by yourself with all the time you MUST dedicate to RPG games. MMORPGs let you have fun with other people when you break from the story for a bit. Offlines just aren't the same.

Yep, amazing graphics and overall game but it does get just a little too repetitive playing by yourself all the time. 30+ hours saved so far. To make a long story short, its essentially the same game as Morrowind with better graphics and a few more toys. Awsome game (and I HATE RPG's) but like you said, a little too repetitive....

I heard in this game that you can kill anyone. Is that true? Like if I wanted to go into a village and slaughter everyone, I would be able to do so? Please tell me that's true!

Umm, yea, I guess you could do that. It might be a little hard and you would probably end the game because of it.. But sure, I guess you could do that. However, that is an assssssss of people to slaughter.

Certain people have "crowns" so to speak when you target them. These individuals are unkillable. Counts, Kings, & Quest Givers or people important or pertaining to the storyline down the line in the game cannot be killed. When their health goes to 0% a message comes up saying they went unconscious. About 10-15 seconds later they awake with 10% health regenerating at a constant rate. Theoretically you can kill all the unimportant people in a village, but a lot of the townspeople are unkillable.

Amazing game, I've only played it about 5 times at my friend's so I can't tell you if it's repetitive, but it is on my top 10 or top 5 bets RPGs ever. Amazing how many things you can do in the game, all the different stuff you can get, everything. You can be whatever you wanna be and do what you wanna do.

I'm gonna add more and say this game is basically you living your life in a past time. You do whatever the hell you want. Get the reputation you want, join the guilds you want, and basically kill everyone in this game if your level is high enough. You pick what kind of character to be, what you look like, race, skills, everything. It's a great game I hope you enjoy it.

I have the game and I like it. The graphics are amazing. The entire game and storylines are amazing too. Just a great overall game.
