DW5 is awesome. I rented it Friday and haven't stopped playing it (other than to go to the beach). Empire mode is great. You pick a Leader, 2 Generals and 3 Lieutenants and start to conquer the land. I love it.

BF2 is moderate at best. It's fun for a bit but it gets boring quick.

Socom is repetitive as well. Hence the reason I don't play it too much anymore. But seeing as I have a clan on socom who knows how to do ****, I guess it isn't repetitive by your terms.

See... I think the same thing of BF2, too. I've played the demo, and don't get me wrong, I thought it was a nice change from any of the SOCOM games, but it did seem somewhat "boring".
But on the other hand, it probably would be more fun playing in the same room with some people that I know.
I'll see about renting it, Allstar... just to make you happy. But be warned, at the local Blockbuster, they always seem to have it rented out to someone else.

I used to think it was AWSOME on my buddies PC, but that was a couple of years ago. The game hasnt seemed to change much IMO. Player movement is retarded to me. Simply just jumping into a game kinda blows too.. Nobody talks..
However I could see the game being spectacular if you had a good (large) team.
