I never really liked the AKS in S2 only the original, but if you can use it props to you. Don't kill too many people with it though or you'll start the classic S2 fight:
"Cheap Gun" ---> ****** justification for glitching ---> Fight in lobby ---> TK war

As long as you keep the IW and M203ish weapons in the armory where they belong, I don't mind any other gun. I think the M3 12 Gauge adds an interesting aspect to the game, how it is interesting depends on what side you are on. :)
