User created rooms and games going downhill

hey, before i start, i just wanted to say that i am not a cry baby and wanted to complain socom 3 online...and this is my opinion
ok, i noticed lately that most of the games i see in the socom universe is so lame now, games made with basically all the options turned on such as no bombs, no pistols, no assault rifles, etc... the games itself also makes me made pissed cuz they are not what they used to be...and the games are mostly suppression (no demolition, no escort, etc..) and its is not very easy to find a decent room with good maps and good options...so please post replys if you disagree or agree with me

I agree, i can never find a decent convoy or control points game ever. I have to go searching through a good 10 servers to find one. Also, for some reason my filters make my PS2 freeze so i cant use them, time to sort by hand :(

That is true, you are entitled to your opinion, but you say you are having trouble finding a demo map.....you must be kidding, those are some of the most common maps found on Socom 3. or you could just find a demo medley.

yeah that is true for me too, my ps2 freezes when i use it so i dont really want to use the damn filters

I buy a PS2 so i dont have any troubles like u get on a pc allot with games..
And now their tellin me too do all these things in my router i iant no eistein on my pc and if i login my router there is no stuff their callin their atleast not in my dutch router..
And they dont reply too my post in that toppic either

Alot of the standard games are abandoned because alot of people are sick of playing all large maps of the same style ( Demo , Convoy ) . latley I've seen alot more RunNGun rooms with no nades because people are just flat out sick of the lag anymore, at least I do. Everybody , for the most part, are Socom-Saturated and are trying new things. I find myself playing maps with styles that I used to hate , but now love. I create rooms and mix maps and options up like crazy, it's the only way that makes this game interesting to me anymore. I need fresh Socom Goodness.

I usually just join one of my friends game's (all gametypes) at night. Just find good people to play with i guess. Also if you don't want to go through all those servers, do that "See all games" glitch. Just join a server (us east 1 for example) and do your filter settings, but then hit ok but right after you hit ok press triangle to bring you back to the server list. Then all the game's in the socom universe with those settings will show up and you can join them.

For best results, use the AUTOPLAY feature online. At the top of the main screen, it is the 2nd icon to the right.

You can set all the settings of the game you're looking for, and >POOF!<, you're in it.

When in those games, if you're having a good time with some of the people/clans, send them friend invites. You'll be able to follow them in the future when you're looking for a good clan.

This has prooved effective for me several times, and has lead to many great games with [B-S], [SLY], [JRK], and most recently, [BmE].

I think most people like suppresion more. And when they play suppresion, they like to turn alot of things off, to mak the game either more fun from their perspective, or to manipulate the game lvl(Ex: Snipe No Cross). If you dont like any of the games i suggest you make your own, that way you'll be happy with everything you're playing.

IMO, there should be different servers for different kinds of maps.

Instead of US East Ranked 1

US Suppression Ranked
US Demolition Ranked
US Convoy Ranked
etc.
