i think they'll only use there secondary weapons when they're out of ammo. i've seen jester in brewed chaos w/his pistol out, cuz he didnt have any more bullets in the machine gun.. the .48 i think?
yeah the same happened to me in the mission with the peacekeepers when you have to defend the outposts, one of my bravo team just switched from his machine gun to his pistol. but why dont they switch from their big guns to their pistols for close quarters combat.
My team has never used pistols when they run out of machine gun ammo. Instead, all I hear is CLICK CLICK CLICK...
I usually have them hold fire until the situation becomes scary.
I don't think they ever use AT4's, RPg's, Mines, Clay's or 203's either. In fact, I think the only non-regular explosive they deploy is a satchel or c-4.
I don't think i've ever seen them use their secondary weapons in this game
