this topic has been staated in about a billion reveiws. that is actually the point of airburst.
Thats not a tip you just gave us lil, its the description of why airburst > mgl. I absolutely LOVE this weapon and use it at EVERY chance. I have gotten so many kills of people firing from behind hills, walls, rocks, poles, and random obstructions that it is ridiculous.
iight airburst have one good use on a particular map i North Africa(devils road) for once if u get an m8 with airburst plus extra airburst ammo an at4 and then sum more at4 ammo u ust stay bak and just start lobbying airbusrt after airburst untill uve used all of em then u take out the at4 and fire the two rounds and ur all don ull usually end up gettin a couple kills(shootin from seal to terrorist side) another good use for airburst is as a special kind of lure..(devils road) when u go up on the trail on the left side ( seal side) like if u were goin up thru there to get to the terrorist set up a claymore hidden around a bend then switch to airburst and run forward almost as if goin down the hill and shoot at the terrorists which are usually comin ur way nd that will get them pissed off nd come after u so u retreat alittlebit and when they cross the bend BOOM their asses have been sent flyhigh

The airburst thingy it says it can blow up at a set time or something like that umm can you do that? plus how do you shoot the darn thing on single player I can't figure it out.

Bleh, personally, I think they should limit it (GL's/AirBurst) to 1-2 shots max and/or make them super heavy to weigh them down. It's such a lame nooby weapon.
Why is it nooby? I think everyone on here is tired of people calling this and that weapon "nooby." It's in the game, and it has it's disadvantages. If you get killed by one, I have one tidbit of advice. Don't complain don't vote them, pull one out yourself and/or get better.

When you say 'shoot it' do you mean use the grenade launcher or change your rate of fire until a grenade icon appears? The standard fire button is R1, if you want to change rate of fire hold down L3.
Unfortunately you have to manually aim where the shell lands, if you want to hit someone in front of you, you'll have to aim a little above his head. If you want to hit a target a long distance away, aim at the sky and with any luck it'll land next to an enemy.
