from what all i read about the 360 online
and ps4 not realeasin any information about their online...

The PS3 will be great, much better than the 360. The 360 isnt even round so why call it the 360? That tells you something right there, they were lost for names. PS3 WILL RULE AND THE ONLINE WILL BE GREAT TOO!!!! I hope

Well... at least I agree with two things from your post. But you can't honestly go around saying that it will be "much better than the 360"... not just yet, anyway. Sorry, Charlie.

I think it is undeniably scary that they (Sony) are being so hush-hush about their online information... I've heard quite a few times that they think things are just peachy with their "current service". Wow.

Xbox Live has always been superior. Ive played both religiously at some point. 360's problem right now is the lack of good online games. Ghost recon just came out which is good online. Other than that there is no good online game to get settled into. I cannot wait for Halo 3.


Halo 3 > PS3.

360 will probably have better online then the revolution and PS3

lol i like playstation more than xbox. but u cant say theyre lost for names without saying sony is. they called it the ps3! ps1, ps2 now ps3. i think microsoft didnt want their name to be typical - xbox2 but i agree it makes no sense. its a rectangular prism not a cylinder.!!
i think we might have to pay for ps3 online because sony wants to improve the online capabilities and of course they need money. but i dont see the point. who cares if u have a xtra features like chatting at central station, friends lists (not in the game but on Central station) and slightly less lag. u have to pay yearly! and i would rather get a game instead

I still can't believe two people on these forums think that the system should be round because it is called "360". The only reason that it is called a "360" is because of the immersive environment (the 360 degree circle around you) that the 360 provides for their gamers. Wow.

You'd better hope that they make their subscribers pay for their online service. I've been on XBL for the past week and a half, and I honestly don't even care to play any online games on my PS2 anymore.

You must also be the only person around here (socom3.com forums) that doesn't mind their online games lagging like a mo' fo'.

$49 for a 13 months worth of online service is not too much to ask... if it is too much for you to pay, then it might be time to get a job or a better paying job.

I've heard that there's now a free version of live as well. What are the differences between the two?
