It's weird beacuase I tried runing and gunning without a suppressor, and I noticed that I was playing better , but whats weird is, is that I've went back to a suppressor and I'm doing better with a suppressor on. I've tried with the suppressor off, and my game isnt the same anymore, so idk kind of weird. So now i stick with the suppressor on.

I Luv the suppressor, its the best thing about socom 3 being able to put them on practicaly everything, i like camping somewhere and shooting them as they run across and just watching them run around in circles looking 4 u!!

Yeah that's fun it's a load of fun when your less then 3 meters from them and they run right in front of you and drop into prone right next to you that is good. Speaking of which that is how I killed someone

I love suppressors, for some reason I even like them during firefights. I don't know why, but I do.
As a Seal, I always use Suppressor 2, for more range, and it is lighter. It works almost as well as 1 too.

suppressor 1 doesnt affect range (and it cant be fit on HK5/HK7, suppressor 2 does. but we know what you mean.

I heart suppressors. Call me a pansy, but on Killing Fields small, I snipe at our base, hide till i'm last standing, then send out some super loud rounds as bait. The everyone comes running, as I'm concealed, I get a supressed pistol and pick 'em off. very effective.

Oh gosh..... here we go again....
Suppressor 2 takes away less range, but is SLIGHTLY less accurate and a little louder (although I cant hear a difference), and suppresor 1 takes away more range, is quieter and doesnt decrease your accuracy at all.
For whatever reason, the descriptions for the suppressors are switched. You probably wont believe me so just keep on being ignorant, but if you feel like actually learning something, go try it out. Get an M4A1 and put suppressor 1 on it. Look at your weapon's range stat. Go back to the armory and put suppressor 2 on.... look at it's range stat.
If you STILL dont believe me, get a scope and an IW80A2 with suppressor 1. Check the maximum range. Then get suppressor 2 and check your maximum range. Youll see that its anywhere from 15 - 20 meters longer with suppressor 2.

the only time i dont use a supressor is if i'm having trouble getting kills. i'll bust out the ak 47, or ag 94, or m16. 99.8% of the time i use the silencers. i used to be a silenced weapons specialist on socom 2. not that i camped but i'd pick "hot spots" and wait, find enemies, kill, move on to another spot wherever the action or the tide of the game shifted. socom 3 especially since the larger maps this is harder to do, so i've become more of an aggressive, run'n'gun silencer using kinda guy. m4a1-sd 2 i usually use on seals, and the 552 sd1 on terrorists. usually i find by getting in the middle of the action to begin 1 of 2 things happen. i get merked and it's over till next round or i get 2 or 3 kills right off the bat. if i can tag one guy, usually theres another guy or two hanging in the area. if they see his blue dot go down on their map, they usually try to respond, and i've already set my trap. if the situation calls for it, i'll play body guard for snipers, to either watch their back and or pick off the guys that get in too close that they can't hit. usually if their using the 82 or 87, if the sniper misses, they know where he's at, so they're not expecting to get shot from a bush, or from behind a rock, or any off to the side location wherever i happen to be, they're focused on the sniper. i suppose the run and gunning w/the silenced weapons is probablly a pretty good reason why i have about 75% or more of my kills being headshots.

Simple and easy Sup1 takes less accuracy and more range with a little less sound. Sup2 gives a little extra accuracy less range and less sound. end of statement
(Like that is so hard to figure out)
