Well while me and my friends where testing how many at-4s it takes to take out the tank we said "lets see how long it takes to take out the tank with our rifles. So 25 people were shooting a tank for a good ten minutes until finally it went BOOM! Anyway about 1/4 were using .50 cals 2/4 of the guys were using M16s and IWs and then the other 1/4 were using SR-25s and other lower caliber rifles... IT WAS BORING!!!!
Nope, RPGs, AT-4s, mines, and HEs (barely- i think) hurt tanks.
yeah you can blow up a tank with one HE. its hard though i did it once. the map was crucible and the tank was chasing me around this big like rock thing and then i jsut droped an HE it drove over boom and it exploded

I usually have me and a buddy with an at-4 and mines camp out behind a rock. We just take hk-5's with no attatchments since we're already weighed down. When the terrorists would get a tank, we would set up a line of mines behind the rock. When the tank was close enough, we would either pop out with our at-4's and blow it up, or if we were out, we would shoot at it with our hk-5's and have it pull around the rock. Its always fun watching the tank try to go around and run you over and end up getting a wake up call from some mines.
Its very real and it definetly happens, cuz it happened to me. Some Seal with an I Dubb lit up the back of my tank as i was dtriving past (it was already in gray smoke) and the thing blew up, boom, end of story
Yeah i think it is possible to finish off the tank, when it is already smoking or what not. It may be possible to just shoot it forever to get it to blow up, but not very useful for game situation...
That would be nice. I've Blown up a tank on single player whit 2 RPG-7 shots and then got bravo to blow it the rest of the way with 2 AT-4 Shots small arms fire does not work frags he flashbangs(duh) don't work. M203 Shots don't work. mines claymores don't work but..........this is weird you can kill the people in the tank by going right under the barrel and blasting away with a M60 I did this and killied every one in the tank (giltch?) I don't know you can also stun the people by..and get this a flashbang it happened to me i did it to the tanks on the lvl where you have to defend the cha postions.
