to the person who posted the importance of breaching I agree I miss the breaching system in s2 and iv'e said this before the only good ai in the game is the ah-6 littlebird pilot

I have the best hopes for S4 single new single player and multiplayer. I hope they change alot of the things from Socom 3's single player Making it more realistic, fixing A.i. and getting rid of extra health and ammo. And making minor changes to Socom 3's multiplayer aspect.

It’s just my thoughts…right or wrong, just what I was feeling at the time...

Agreed, although I do have a #3: When I say FIRE AT WILL, please do.

The story itself I did like, the cutscenes were great, and the action got intense in some spots, but its no "Against the Tide" in S2 which I think is the greatest SOCOM mission. I enjoyed shooting at the APF once again. However, the SEAL team was dumber then a group of crackheads. I would be taking massive fire and they would just sit there, the S2 SEALs wouldnt take crap and especially not the S1 SEALs. Last I heard, Boomer was a mall security guard (correct me if I'm wrong). As for SOCOM 1, the final mission was the best, "Deathblow" I think it was. SOCOM 3 was not a huge disappointment, I've played worse games.

One more thing, if they added an offline mode with two players that can control each element against the enemy AI, or even an online mode where 4 players play a single fireteam against the computer, that would be cool too.

SOCOM 1- 8 out of 10
SOCOM 2- 9 out of 10
SOCOM 3- 7 out of 10

I just got SOCOM 3 the other day (I know I am a little behind) and I am dissapointed. I agree with the above post, when I say fire at will do so....The retards will just sit there getting shot and when they do fire back they hardly hit anything. That is another thing, when I am proned or crouched and I am shooting at an enemy the fire is so spuratic that it takes half a clip to get 4 bullets to hit. Now I know what you all are thinking "he just cant shoot" but even on single shot the bullet rarely goes where you are aiming.

I do like the missions and I think its a good game but I dont like the driving as much as I thought I would. Its just kind of dumb really. So I get to drive a vehicle from one checkpoint to another big deal. I would rather run it and fight against the enemy along the way.

Overall good game though. I never got to play SOCOM 1 but I gave SOCOM 2 an 9 out of 10 and SOCOM 3 gets a 7 out of 10 for me

what are u guys talkin bout in my game the comp is so accurate it only takes the 1 shot when there on the turret to kill an enemy

I got Socom 3 a few days after the release date over here... i must admit my first reasoning for buying was to play online only as i had found Socom 2 and 1 pretty tough in one player mode... and hadn't ever actually completed it...

I was shocked though to find how well i got on with 3 though and within 2 days had already got through at commander level and was pushing well into captain... all be it dieing a lot along the way... but thank god for the checkpoint function... something sadly missing from the earlier ones i feel... yet getting so far on 3 has givenmethe confidence to go back and have another crack at the offline games on 1 and 2

But when all is said and done... they are all great games and the number of people that do rave about it speaks for itself... there's always room for improvement... lets just hope they make the right ones...

so there ya go... thats what i think... lol

In my version of Socom 3, it takes two rounds from an assault rifle to kill each terrorist, even on the hardest difficulty. And that's without using the red bars...
