Verification/ Error Codes/ Router, Mic fixes.

just dled the new patches on my mic don't work. it worx on single player and other games. i have redownloaded the patch. i have changed ports? i have a linksys di-524 wireless router? it always worked till 2 days ago??? i can;t talk or hear now??? i can see the peeps names int he corner like they r talkina nd seems like most peeps stillc an but wtf why not me??? someone help asap because i don't wanna quit socom??

Yea, i need some help or suggestions. I'm able to log on to Socom (as I have been in the past) but however I get kicked off or booted within anywhere between 3-10 minutes everytime I'm playing. I dont even have to be in a game playing, I might be in the Community Server reading my mail and then I will get booted, and the it reads ERROR L2 or ERROR 36. I don't know what this means, but I believe my internet connection is fine. I called Playstation and they gave me a list of Port #'s to open up, because they said my modem might be firewalled now that I've downloaded the new patch. I hate this, everything was perfectly fine before I dl'ed the new patch, now I can't play an entire game. Is anyone else having this problem??? Please help me, thx!

i also am experiancing this same issues others have and ive done the port forwarding as advised and even called netgear tech support and spent 4hrs with them on this issue and after updating the firmwear and a gazzilion settings still the mic doesnt work

now keep in mind everything was fine intill i downloaded the new patch... befor the new patch everything was fine

so im positive its the patch...

i can log in and play but my mic refuses to work

i can see others talking up a storm but i cannt hear or speak and it says 0 players have a mic

my wireless router is
netgear wgt624

and my ps2 is WIRED to the router

hope this alteast catchs the attention of zipper ect. if not maybe it will save someone from jumping through hoops trying to fix it.

I have experienced the same errors. When I first log on to the game everything is fine. After about 10 minutes, of easily killing opposing gamers with my clan mates, I get booted off the game. EVERYTIME. I deleted the entire patch TWICE, unplugged my modem, restarted my router, created a new network, and created a new connection for my PS2. Still disconnected. I have searched at least three message boards and found no help. If anyone could assist us with this problem your advice would be greatly appreciated by all. Thanks in advance. MANIFEST DESTINY

yeah it's the same with me, I have two network configurations: one that has the ip address with all the ports opened, and one on a different ip address with everything set as auto. When I use the one with the ports opened, I can talk to people but I get dissconnected by that L2 error every 5 minutes. If I use the one where everything is set to auto I don't get the L2 error but I can talk or hear anyone. I hate making sacrifices. Maybe it is just one of the ports causing this problem, and if I close that one and that one only, I can talk without the L2 error.

i dont have a credit card, but it says you can use debit, i have a royal bank debit....but it doesnt have an expiration date or security code, therefore it doesnt work. any help?

Ive tried the dns numbers I found in some threads here, and none of them worked. So I called my isp provider, got some numbers from them, and it still doesnt work. what steps should I take now. This has been the most flustrating setup for a game that I have ever dealt with. Anyone with help on the subject would be greatly appreciated.. PLEASE HELP ME

If anyone that knows about the DLink DI-604 could please let me know what the trigger ports are supposed to be for each setting..That would be helpful, I still havent been able to get it to work
