How to make a GOOD Video
We've all seen them. The videos with 15 seconds of a guy, running around, doing absolutely nothing. Then he gets maybe a kill, and some insane text floats by. Then a cut. We like to call these videos, crap.
So, in effort to create more high qualitly productions, this sticky has been put in place to offer ideas, tips, and suggestions on how to make a video worth watching.
Go get 'em!

Cut your clips close together. That is the most common problem. People will show them running around, nobody wants to watch that. People want to see kills, so show them kills.

Do not over-dramatize. Slapping a slow-motion effect onto every "God" kill you make is 'busy'. Will make the watcher of your media extremely bored. Use the slow-motion effect once every two videos you make. Consistantly using it will show your novice skills at editing media.

Always end the video with your best kill. It will be the last thing people will see and when they post, they will remember that great shot/grenade.
And I cannot over-emphasize the importance of high-quality. Take those extra MB. Make the video quality good. It makes all the difference. And as bob said, don't make it 30 seconds of walking, then getting a normal kill.
And insert something funny, I like funny things.
Amen.

i dont know about you guys, but I think the song in the video is something that is very important. if your action is fast paced and action packed, used a fast paced song. i hate seeing videos with songs that are slow as hell and its action action action.

If two instances or clips of you or someone else kicking *** are near eachother in time, you can do a "fast-forward" effect to give the viewer the "all in one take" impression.
Also, if you want a transition, you can bring up the scoreboard at any given time and then switch after an instant for the viewer to glance at the stats and then transition to the next clip.
Another idea for a transition (for when you are viewing as a spectator or dead camera view) is to include the spinning logo that appears when you change characters, and let it go for as long as it takes for you to change characters (and at the instant it changes characters, you cut out the actual change and put in the footage of the next clip).

get kills in different areas of the map. none wants to keep seeing people killed in the most obvious spots.
