Quick Scope Vs. Run and Gun

Personally I find this whole quick scoping phase hilarious. I find that yes it is a cool technic but it isnt to effective. Anyone with any skill with a rifle can own a quick sniper in a heart beat. I have played many many games and have yet ran accross someone that was quick sniping that I couldnt deal with,so my question is this. Do you really think it is that good,or does the nice old fashioned run and gun work for you better?

haven't seen me either...there's a point when quickscoper>runners and gunners. But some situations the quickscoper gets messed up, like when some guy camping behind a box runs infront of me and kills me before my scope goes out, or even before noscoping him.

Your not quick enough. While you take time to push up to scope,their is already 30 in your dome.

well...it just depends on the situation. Such as if a guy f90 wh0r3s me from a meter away, i'm screwed if i miss my noscope. But if he's 10 meter's away, i can usually pull it off if they don't get a lucky headshot within a second or two.

I have seriously owned run n gunners with a sniper rifle when there 10 feet away many many many times. BUT, when i got a gun, killing quicksnipers is easy as hell. Unless there a good distance away, jumping like a retard running across bubble wrap..

I want to play with someone who says there good at quicksniping. I have yet to play with anyone who remotley impresses me. Its sad. (im not saying im the best, im saying everyone else sucks)

i understand what ursaying...but when I play with my clanmates, i own them with my m4a1 when they try to quickscope me...and they are good. But, it seems like i haven't played enough quickscopers...

the reason that happens is that most ppl run straight against quickscopers and they get owned. If some1 laggs around then i get effed up(not saying ur laggy just saying when i'm host i'm laggy and i own everyone trying to quickscope me. that might be ur answer why ur so good against quickscopers).

I think when you are point blank with someone, it is way better to have an assault rifle, no matter how good the sniper is. If you have some distance to shoot over, it could be a different story.

i myself go with gun all the time. i find sniping too easy to get kills and very cheap. takes a real puss to do that
