Too monotone. The render is too blended and takes a second to find its key features. Text is alright. Good work.

Dude, the first one looked great, I don't know how people can criticize anything about it (besides it being monotone). Your updated version in my mind is 10x worse than your first...sometimes listening to people's comments on here is not the best course of action.

I agree. The first one looked fantastic. Maybe it was all one solid color, but that's a style. Don't always have to follow the crowd. Now, you could add some contrast elements to push it off the bland scale, otherwise I liked it.
The second one, not so good. Didn't jump at me like the first one did.
