Making a long distance kill at 125+ meters

theres some guide in here(socom3.com) that tells the ranges the only on i know for sure is the m16 is 115m in the game the only thing wrong with this is even though its out of your range blood spots still appear on the person your shooting at

125m is a little long.

I use the M16 with high scope... and that range I think is 115 max... and at that its not the most acurate thing in the game.

i usually use the m14 with high scope and bipod on all the levels in the game (the ones that have good sniping spots of course) and i can never shoot an enemy at that range max i have done i 85-95 meters

Holy hell... Did Zipper make everyone's max range different? For me both the M14 and M16 max at 120m, after that they both show lines. At all my friends houses, when I play, the M14 and M16 both max at 120m, have confirmed headshots at 120m, after they both show lines. So either you are all playing different games, or Zipper didnt know how to make everyone's game the same.

i just took one down today at i think 130 or 135 in mssion 6


i just used an m16 with high scope in the prone position with a headshot
