Since this was my first SOCOM game, I played through first on ensign (lol).
After beating it once, I realized that ensign was ridiculously easy, skipped lieutenant, and went to commander. After beating it on that, I came to the conclusion that Brewed Chaos was 10x harder on Ensign than Commander (died 5-6 times on E, 1 on C).
Lask week (at 12:00 AM sunday morning, yes I do remember that time), I completed the game on Admiral.

Here's my setup for the mission:
Specter:
AG-94
Thermal
Rifle Laser
F57
M67

Jester:
M4A1
Front Grip
Red dot.
M67

Bravo Team:
9mm
Rifle Laser
DE .50
Ammo

Works like a charm. I actually do run around and use the turrets for the first part and then head inside. I have yet to station Bravo or myself up top; I find that the 9mm sub is efficient enough in the hands of my inaccurate comrades to actually kill the enemy through sheer luck, so I just station Bravo (on fire-at-will, of course. Don't forget, if you just died, that you MUST re-set them to this favorable preference) to cover the north entrance while Jester and I ran around like maniacs killing the terrorist.

If you MUST know, place bravo in that little room on the north so that only when the terrorists have come in through the door that they can see bravo. This prevents unnecessary death and allows the enemy to be close enough for the double spray from the subs to work. In other words for those who are still wondering wtf I mean, place them next to the doorway in a corner.

The corner room:

------..|..-------
|........|.......X.|
|.......\/.......X.|
|...................|
....................|
..<----...........|
....................|
|...................|
-----------------

The X's would be bravo and the arrows are the path of the terrorists into the corner room and then out into the main room with the chemicals. (the periods are placeholders so it's not just a jumble lol)
Do please note that I have not played the mission since beating it last, so the drawing is not to scale.

Hopefully that helps.

But anyways, after you've defeated the brunt of the incoming forces and it's time for Gyrc to make his appearance, tell bravo to follow. This will help keep you alive.

Good luck.

Climb downstairs and wait for intel from HQ. When you are told to go to the east, go to the east side of the brewery and pick off the terrorists while you are hiding INSIDE, shooting out of the door. Do the same for the west side. Eventually HQ will tell you to make sure and stay inside the brewery to avoid any potential RPG blasts. Aim your crosshairs just in front of the east door and tell Jester to cover target. Meanwhile, you should be watching the west. Jester will have your back while you have his. The terrorists will pour in and you will be able to shoot them down one at a time until you've eventually defended the brewery.
I did exactly what you did. I figured put bravo in the middle platform on the second level that way they can shoot people coming from the roof and they could shoot people that get past me on the ground. I gave everyone M60s with extra ammo so I knew I was all set.

I used a SrSd with 9mm. I got on top level and sniped the guys on the east and west turret. Then when you have to kill Gyrc I just sat behind tanks and shot him when he came through the door.

I did this for all difficulties.

tip: Never listen to Beotch at HQ i never do

I just beat it on Admiral. And it was the easiest yet. I had the M-14 with high scope. Jester had the 12ga. pump, and I gave Bravo both the MK-48. I had Bravo hold near the big open door, and Jester right in the middle of bottom floor. I even placed PNN mines, behind the tanks. But never needed them. I'd run back and forth, and snipe the bad guys, while laying down, for the most part. Then at the last, Bravo pretty much took care of the ones coming thru the big door. I think I had to kill one or two. I killed the guy on the upper level, and Jester scatter-gunned the main guy, as he came thru the door. I didn't even get a chance to shoot him. And it only took one try. All the other times, I'd have to restart a couple of times, at least.

neg creeps way from start of post
gonna have to try it your way because Bravo cant seem to manage just watching over the tank containers and that was my 4th time on this mission. It is easy up until that part. Also if I could just make Jester stay in one spot instead of always moving around to cover me. got killed aurging w/ jester to stay in his post. I would love a grudge match: Me against my team mates and just for the fun of it give me just a 9mm.
