Socom makes you want to join the SEALs or Special Forces?

every time i play this game i get better, and i start thinking man i wanna join the seals. the olny thing is i dont know if they have respawn in the seals lol>

Sadly enough, I have a friend who played socom1, and ever since dedicated his entire life to the seals. He joined rotc, trains his body and teaches himself the ways of a seal just to ensure his entry. He says that once he completes college he is going to join them. I personally wouldn't want to.

i wouldnt join, i just think of all the times i get shot in the game, then i think how many times i'd get shot in real life lol.....man that would suck.....

Sergio, its a tough thing to get into. Having stong physical endurance plays a big part but your buddy has to have to mentality for it too. I wish him luck.

I think Socom played a big roll into me wanting to join up with the Marines. Not so much SEALs because I dont really want to be a Navy boy (though Marines are a department of the Navy...Mens Department).

But yeah, any of you that go in SEALs, or any service beside the Navy, good luck.

I read somewhere that ever since Socom came out, the US Navy has had a higher percentage of people attempting to become SEALs and joining the Navy.

This game defiantly does not make me wanna join the seals. Those guys risks their lives and all and you dont have any health meter or anything. Way too dangerous for me, I would not want to be one of them.

Half of the people on this forum would die if they ran around their house never mind join the Navy Seals. I myself don't even think I could get through their training the Navy Seals have the hardest boot camp there is.
