The Night Time is the Right Time

Night games are flippin sweet. You don't have to worry about snipers you can't see, guillie suits are meaningless so you can forget them and take more gear, and you can actually put the thermal to good use.

Too bad they don't have third person night vision though.

Do any of you use regular scopes at night? Should I still be careful of snipers?

alot of people i know that are good snipers use the night vision and then zoom in the regular scope and snipe the spot where they saw someone

Lol im a decent snipe. (no I don't camp in a bush and wait). I quick scope. Yes you should still be aware of snipers. Im playing devils road night and im using M87 with Thermal. Im 10-6 right now..with it

yeah night maps are sweet but the only problem is you zoom in once to see the night vision scope and you can spot out anyone easily.

Night mode is sniper heaven......

Its way too easy to spot an enemy with nvg and then scope in for the kill...

lol...thats why I love sniping on night boards...

I love how people shoot, and I scope in and shoot where I think they are from there muzzle flash. Sniper rifle=one hit kill. They all think I was just lucky.

since it is dark and serious snipers like to stay as hidden as possible and dont need to run, they still use the guille suites, meaning harder to see. they also use the highschope or close to it, and just use the nightvision as their thermal. that is what i do, and it works just fine. so really you have every reason to worry about snipers, because it will be harder for you to see them.

Actually ghillie suits are 500 times more effective at night. Now you will almost never be seen if you are laying one place as a sniper. Snipers own night maps just like during the day except they have the thermal with decreased range.

I don't find the ghille 500 times more affective at all. It's the same with the regular costumes. Because you snipers just use there thermals to snipe you and you just turn green. Plus snipers can't see in dark from 120 m away so it's pointless to wear ghille on night maps ;)
