Pistol tips and tactics

I though i would make a thread about tips and tactics for pistol shooting.
This could be helpful in a situation where you are either a sniper or your ammo ran out for your primary.


I will name all the pistols in the game and give a small tip on them.


SEALs Pistols


Mark 23: This is a very good back up weapon mainly because of its power. Ive found that since it shoots a bit slower then the other SEAL pistols that instead of zig zagging around just charge as fast as you can at the person in a strait line. This may give the enemy a better chance of killing you but you will rarly hit anything if your zig zagging.

226: This is one of my favorite SEAL pistols because its speed and accuracy. With this weapon i suggest you zig zag because you can shoot alot more accurately and faster then the mark 23. also you can shoot from a good range with this pistol due to its accuracy.

9mm pistol: This weapon is also one of my favorite pistols, and in my opinion the fastest and most accurate pistol in the game. I suggest you zig zag with this pistol as well. The one disadvantage that i can find with this pistol is it has a 9 round magizine capacity.

Terrorist Pistols

DE.50: The DE.50 is the most powerful pistol in the game just beating out the Mark 23. This is also the only pistol you can not silence in the game due to its caliber size. The only disadvantage that i can find with this weapon is it is very inaccuate and and the slowest firing pistol in the game. But you can add a pistol laser to inprove its accuracy. I suggest the same strait line charge that you use with the Mark 23 pistol.

F57: This weapon is a very popular terrorist handguns. It has an huge magizine capacity(20 rounds) and is very fast. I suggest using the zig zag motion with this weapon.

Model 18: Now this handgun is one of the most admired and hated gun in the game, it is blessed with full automatic fire and uses the same round as the 226 and 9mm pistol. It isnt very hard to hit someone at a medium range with this weapon. My tip is to use it in bursts at medium ranges and full auto at very close ranges.

I believe i have covered all of the guns. On most of my tips i say to either use the zig zag or strait line motion because those are the only ways i know how to manuver. Please add to this with other tips and tactics.

Good description but also you forgot that the mark 23,226 and de-50 equip with the pistol laser have almost the same range,de-50 has 1% less than the mark 23 and 226 beacuse of its caliber and design unlike the 23,226 they have the same acc and thus it depends either slow fire rate but heavy fire power or good firepower and faster fire rate, a few tactics that I suggest is when playing with seals weapons keep a good distance from the enemy your guns has greater range than the terrorist have.

nice description man. I love pistols in s3 and the 226 is by far my favorite seal pistol. I host alot of pistol respawns so i can practice my pistol work but look me up if u wanna join sometime.

great guide...even though i never use a pistol anymore because of quick scoping i still think 9mm and deagle are the best handguns ever

SEAL Fire Team: SIG P-226 (also known as the M-11) w/Laser Attachment or Suppressor.

Terrorist Fire Team: Model 18 w/Laser Attachment or Suppressor (I actually set it on semi-auto now, just because I now don't feel so cheap, and it seems to work a little better for me).

Normally i would just use the Mk48 cause it is so accurate and it is fast. In my mind the best pistol ever. what do u think?

um the mk48 is a machine gun, not a pistol. and no one uses the m18 on single shot because its so easy to use on full auto.

LOL, the model 18 is my favourite, especially with a silencer.

Not true. I stated that I use the Model 18 on semi-auto (that means there is at least one person out there that does use it on semi). It's just my preference.
