A few small tips
Here are a few small tips. Nothing major but maybe some people will be able to use them. Anyways me and my cousin was playing last night on citadal. We set up with him looking around a corner down a hall, then I was a down a hall behind him. We had decided that he would watch around the corner and when someone came in he would tell me to throw a nade. I was standing far enough back that by the time the nade hit the corner he was sitting at and bounced around the corner it would blow soon after that, and the seal wouldn't have time to run away and dodge the death. So here we are I've got my nades out and he is watching around the corner for me. It doesn't work cause someone was talking on the mic when a seal entered the hall that he was watching. He just popped out from around the corner and shot him. So we decided rather then trying to key up the mic, we would use our L1 button. That worked much better. When his man would say "Cover Me", or "I got Point" that meant throw the nade. It worked pretty well. Some of you guys may already do this, some may not, just thought I would mention it.
Another one that I used in S2, and still use, and it works better now that you can run and throw nades without stopping. If you think someone may be behind you, when you run into a doorway etc....Take a nade and bounce it off the top of the door. It will bounce behind you and you can keep running, anyone behind you will see the nade and try to stop and back up, or won't see it and get blown up. Unless of course they are 10 feet behind you but I'm sure if they was that close they would be shooting at you. I've gotten a few kills this way, and there is nothing funnier then when it happens.
One more thing I haven't seen alot of people do. If I get into a gunfight and move around a corner etc...to reload, I will pull out my nades and drop one right at the corner, and keep walking backwards. Alot of times they will rush you and when they come around the corner the nade will blow up and kill them, just makes it easier on you rather then getting shot at for a kill.

Yeah this is a great last resort tip. I did this in my first ever game of fault. I had set up some claymores near a small doorway and was sitting there when a terr came at me from behind. So I panicked to get my gun out but somehow my other quick select had been set on an HE and I threw one of those out by mistake. Then another terr came at me from the right and I just dove behind a rock and the HE killed both of them. pwnt.

Pretty sneaky
I like the grenade against the door trick. I'll try that one out...although I'm sure that I'll end up eating it a few times.

also when ur in a gunfight throw a nade. right after u throw it start shooting in the same area. either the nade or ur gunfire will kill the enemy.

I used to use that in Call of Duty. Grenades bounced easily so I would chuck them everywhere.

The grenade off the wall trick was used by me alot on Socom 1. I'd be in the tunnel below the hostage room in DG. And someone would see me. I'd just throw a nade off the wall and run inside and let it explode. Sometimes it would kill the guy, but most of the time (since Socom 1 didn't have uber powerful grenades back then) they'd fall down. And since most of them didn't have the first Socom 1 version(the one where you could press reload if you got knocked down and you'd slide up) you could get an easy kill that way :)

i don't understand why socom made the grenades outta rubber...anyways, in small maps fault in the brown tunnel from the seal spawn you can chuck a nade into the semi circle and it bounces like a bouncing ball on crack. Once i got it to go to the back of the semi circle area :)

I use the L2 button, rather than the L1 button to signal an enemy in view. ;)
A tap of the L2 means that person sees an enemy. Holding L2 is equivelant to "I don't see ****." :)

LMAO oh ya, if you ever play with me and steve on a team, you will basically put your TV on mute, for we are always holding that down.....quite the signal for I dont see crap, and I am bored.
Another good tip while running away from an bad guy, just tap the R1 button with grenades out, your charector will simply drop it, and they will run right into it. Works best when running around corners/doors.
