Dolphins/Florida sports

i noticed reading through some of the football threads we've got a few dolphins fans that contribute to the threads, id just like to get a better idea of how many of you their are out there. i was born in ft.lauderdale, fl. so i been a fins fan since before i was born. we moved up to the baltimore area a few years later, but i'll always be a fins fan. go 'canes, go fsu, go fla. panthers, and i can't believe what the marlins are doing this offseason

three years ago they win the world series and they're already dumping all their talent. :-\ but i hope they do good too. but if anyone wants to talk florida sports, let's put it here.

Im not from florida but I am a HUGE dolphins fan!!! I can tell ya that what Nick Saban is the next Don Shula... I hope :)

saban rules, wannstedt sucks hairy balls. wannstedt talked marino into retirement and that was messed up. only to replace him w/fiedler. give me a friggin break. watching our offense when wannstedt took over was like pulling teeth. sure ricky was good, but that was it! everytime they got the ball, run twice and pass on a long third down. or run it 3 times if the third down was short. if we got behind, he'd throw a little more, but it didnt help that fielder is awful. anyways i think saban gets a few years w/miami, and he can get all the personnel of his choice into the system, we got good chances at becoming a regular contender for playoffs again.

Agreed... Ive been a hardcore fins fan on Marinos last year and I was able to see what you may call the fall of the Fins... But all they need is a good young QB and they will be competing.

yeah i agree. i wouldnt say frerotte is bad. he's actually an ok guy. but, he's def. no roethlisberger, or eli manning, or carson palmer. which is what we need, a young good quarterback, that's got potential to be tier 1. our defense is their. taylor, madison, thomas. we got a good core, just need that arm. i been watchin football since i was born, fall of 82 and on. i grew up w/marino

Frerotte isnt bad at all but I can tell ya he isnt clutch. Hell sometimes I feel like Ricky/Ronnie duo could win us the games. Anyways its nice to see fins fans :)
