www.Socom3.com Playbook
Welcome to the Socom3.com playbook!

Devil's Road

Attack Plans:

1. SEALs

Attacking

Sniping
Weapons of Choice
SR- 25 with Surpressor 1 and Low Scope
Mark 23 with Surpressor
M67 Frags

1. Cover the roads as much as possible with SR-25 SD's and M2 mines. The Terrorists love using their tank and will do everything they can to get it into the village areas.

2. Avoid from moving about in the cliffs and showing your position as the Terrorists will try to pick you off with their tank.

3. Try to keep your snipers down to about 5 people. Have one cover each village from the cliffs and and the rest watch the roads.

4. Use Spawn 2 to cover the North road to the village with an SR-25 SD or M87ELR. Hide behind the small rock and scope the road that leads to the Terrorists' spawn. More than likely, a vehicle will come that way, giving you a perfect head shot. Plus you can steal the vehicle afterwards and drive up behind any terrorists that took the South road.

Gunning
Weapons of Choice
M16A2 with Low Scope and Rifle Laser or M14 with Low Scope and Bipod
226
M67 Frags x2

1. It's important to have heavy weapons such as an AT4, M2 mines, M203s, and M60s. Vary the weapons to different teamates so not just one person has to carry the load.

2. On Convoy mode, have about 2 people watch each breach with an AT4, M2 mines, and possibly Claymores. When a Terrorist is breaching, they give themselves away as they plant the C4 charge. It is perfect for a broadside ambush.

3. If you're going to straight out rush, kep away from the roads, because if a Terrorist see's you while they're in a vehicle, they will try and run you over at first chance.

Driving
Vehicles of Choice
ALSV

1. Be mindful of M2 mines near the road that goes through the villages and follows the oasis. Terrorists love planting them there as soon as they spawn and the M8s are very well camouflaged against the sand.

2. The turrets on the ALSV and Humvee are perfect for covering key points. Try to hide the vehicle behind a rock and when you see a Terrorist(s) come to that point, jump into the vehicle and burst out in front of them with the turret blazing. This will catch them off-guard and allow you to take them out effectively.

3. Keep a sharp eye out along the cliff edges and in the grass around the oasis. Terrorists love hiding there and will take you out easily. So try to swerve a bit when going through here to give the snipers a hard time with following you for a clear shot. But make sure you don't side-swipe and of your teamates!

2. Terrorists

Attacking

Sniping
Weapons of Choice
SASR with Surpressor 1 and Low Scope or M82A1 with Low Scope
DE.50 or Model 18

1. Use the village spawn to your advantage. Try and hide on the thatch roofs or in the cliffs above them.

2. The palm trees in the oasis provide excellent cover for snipers. Use these (and the bushes) and lie down and scope the incline on the road where it leads South. The SEALs spawn directly above that and love to peek out from behind the rock walls.

3. When a teamate is breaching an obstruction, try and lay down several meters behind him and watch the breach as it explodes for any SEALs trying to ambush you. Keep a sharp eye out on the small cliff edge above the South breach for any SEALs attempting to take our your vehicles.

Gunning
Weapons of Choice
M16A2 with Low Scope and Rifle laser
Model 18
M67 Frags

1. If you are rushing the SEALs' spawn, then use the mountain trails to get in 'undetected'. The village spawn is the closest to these trails. Although watch out for any SEALs that may have the same idea!

2. On Convoy, laying down surrpressing fire is key. Use powerful and accurate weapons (such as the M16 with a Low to Medium Scope) to take out incoming SEALs as they try to destroy the convoy trucks.

3.

Driving
Vehicles of Choice
Tank (forgot actual name)
Technical

1. The tank is virtually your lifesaver. Keep this vehicle ahead of all the other vehicles. Use the turret rather than C4 to breach obstructions more safely. Also use it to spray shells against the cliffs for any snipers or other SEALs.

2. The Technicals are a bit skeptical on this map. You can be easily sniped and they blow up easily. Try to keep away from open areas where M2 mines are most likely to be placed.

3. Use the turrets for covering key points. Try to hide the vehicle behind a rock and when you see a Terrorist(s) come to that point, jump into the vehicle and burst out in front of them with the turret blazing. This will catch them off-guard and allow you to take them out effectively.

Defense Plans

1. SEALs

Sniping
Weapons of Choice
M87ELR with Low Scope
9mm

1. Villages are perfect places to hold as positions. Ude any ledges that are overlooking the positions to your advantage. It is perfect for picking off Terrorists when they pull up in vehicles. Also, try sniping the doors and entrances because in order for a Terrorist to take a position within a buidling, they have to go through a door.

2. Covering checkpoints with a sniper is a perfect defense. Take a checkpoint, and then have a sniper cover that spot from a safe distance. This will prevent any opposition.

3. Primarily when sniping, it's a good idea to be calling activity out. When you are attempting to stop a barrage of Terrorists, call it out and have someone help you. Don't try to take them out all by yourself as they will easliy overpower you with surpressing fire.

Gunning
Weapons of Choice
M4A1 with 4x Scope and Surpressor 2
9mm pistol
M2 mines, Claymores, or AT4 Heat

1. Keep your distance from the main village road at the top of the hill. Terrorists love throwing grenades up there and will try to pick you off from the oasis. Try to plant a Claymore behind a rock so when they come up the hill you can ambush them.

2. Heavy weapons and mines work perfectly. Use M2s on dark-sand roads and around corners. Use Claymores behind rocks and in the bushes (the mountain trails is perfect for these).

3. If you know that the Terrorists will be constantly using their tank, then use AT4s as much as possible. While only one round will not take it out, several will desimate it. Use high ground to your advantage (like the cliff edge above the South breach). Tanks can't shoot that high, so just lob grenades and AT4s at it. This will also prove effective against troops.

Driving
Vehicles of Choice
Humvee (when available)

1. Use the vehicles as a 'nonfixed' position. The vehicles body can prove as useful cover and the turret can easily clear out any Terrorists within 10 meters of it. The vehicles are perfect for covering checkpoints and when setting demo charges.

2. Always keep a weary eye out for an empty tank. If you see that it's empty, take it as soon as possible and use it to your advantage. Place it as a road block in front of Load Zones or breaches. The tank is more of a 'fixed' position than any ALSV or Humvee due to its armor and cannon.

3. Use the fast ALSVs to transport your teamates back to your spawns if it is under attack. Running there won't do any good. When you know that you won't make it in time, just burst in with the turret blazing and hopefully you will take out a feww Terrorists (and not SEALs).

2. Terrorists

Sniping
Weapons of Choice
SASR with Surpressor 1 and low Scope
DE.50

1.

Gunning
Weapons of Choice
Any of the AKs with Low Scope (and possible 203 launcher)
DE.50
RPG-7 with x2 rounds, M2 mines, or M67 Frags

1.

Driving
Vehicles of Choice
Tank

Please post your "plays" in a seperate topic. Thank you

Crucible Demolition Plan (SEALS)
By Mackwhitedaddy

There are several ways to ensure that the SEAL base is safe in Crucible demo. I have tried some and decided that this was the best for me: (you will need: AT-4 M2 m4/m16*) at the first of the round, claim one of the ALSVs and park it exactly in the middle of the front fence and go to the base side of the ALSV and plant two M2 mines directly behind the tires then move to the back where the silos are and climb up one (preferably the one farthest away from the back gate but doesnt really matter) and pull out the M16/M4 and point it at the back gate.

How it works: Usually the terrorist team will use a vehicle instead of the long walk to the SEAL base. when a vehicle thats moving rams a non-moving vehicle, the non-moving vehicle moves backwards. when the technical rams the ALSV, the ALSV will move backwards onto the M2 mines you set earlier causing the M2s to blow up the ALSV. the explosion of both M2 mines and the ALSV is sufficient to blow up the technical that rammed them you have the RL to blow up any more vehivles that may come through the gate after the fireworks( just be sure to try to aim under the vehicle where the sweet spot is) the M16/M4 will be enough to stop any people coming through the back gates and to snipe any people walking through the front gate

*If you have the med. scope get the M4 if you dont, get the M16 and the high scope

Crucible Terrorist Convoy

1. Make sure to have a couple of steady players spawn at the spawn point closest to the extraction zone. Have them rush up to just past the closest load zone. You can create a good bottleneck here. Plus, most Seals are busy at the other end of the map camping and trying to get their kills, so you won't be in for much of a fight.

2. Here is the order... technicals...tank...convoys.
Technicals...make sure to swerve like crazy and go clear out as many seals as possible. We all know where they hide becasue it's where we hide when we're seals.
Tank...clear a path for the convoys. Don't bother using the machine gun turret because you'll get sniped in 2 seconds. Stay on the main gun and shoot the road to clear any mines. Then keep a heavy barrage of fire on the mountain to hold back snipers.
Convoys...forget about the middle load zone and head right to the far load zone that is being protected by the terrorists from step 1. Swerve, swerve and swerve...stay off the main road whenever possible but don't be too fancy. Just get there. Hopefully, the seals will have used most of their AT-4's on the tank and your only concern will be mines and snipers. If you can get to the far load zone, you're 90% of the way there.
3. Use smoke. Smoke out the arch where the seals all camp before the trucks roll out. Smoke out the far load zone as soon as the convoy gets there. There will be more sniper rifles and campers on the seal side than anything else, so if they can't see you, they can't stop you.
4. Hold the load zone. Keep the seals back with any remaining technicals and the tank. Once the cargo truck is loaded it takes less than 10 seconds to get to the extraction zone.

Reasons the terrorists fail on this map:
1. They don't think they can win
2. They play it like a supression map.
3. They leave the cargo trucks at the spawn point for too long. If you don't move them in the first minute, you'll probably lose.
4. They give up vehicles to the seals. If you don't know how to drive effectively against snipers, ask someone else to drive. Don't take a vehicle just to jump out a few meters out of the arch. If the seals get a vehicle, you'll most likely lose.

Reasons this gameplan will work:
1. The seals don't expect the terrorists to actually have a plan. Every time I play this map they are more concerned with their kill count than actually stopping the convoy. As a terrorist...any plan is a good plan.
2. Most of the seals who are actually playing to win will probably die in the first few exchanges of gunfire against the vehicles. The rest of them are camping and sniping. Once the convoy is at the far load zone, they panic and don't know what to do. Most times they won't even mount an attack. If you can get the convoys past "Sniper Mountain"...you're golden.
3. Seals aren't used to fighting on the other side of the map by the extraction zone. They haven't found all the good hiding spots yet and they don't know the angles and lines of fire.

I don't claim that this plan is foolproof. But it has worked for me a few times. In fact, this has been the only way to win a convoy on crucible for me instead of just eliminating all seals. My hope is that terrorists will start acting like a team. I'm sure that once the terrorists start playing as a team, the seals will eventually change their method of play and this strategy won't work anymore. But that's the evolution of the game. I still haven't even seen anyone play an extraction map yet. That's what I love about Socom, as the players get better...so does the game.

One last note: I'm sick of everyone complaining about how easy convoys are for seals. They're easy right now because everyone plays seals. If someone gets stuck on the terrorist side they switch over before the next game starts. I'll admit that I do this sometimes, too. But I'm willing to bet that once people actually play for a decent period of time as a terrorist on these maps, the terrorists will start winning and then the threads will be full of people complaining that convoy maps are too easy for the terrorists because they get vehicles. Any way...sorry to ramble but I hope this helps and I look forward to hearing feedback or other ideas for the terrorists to take it to the seals.

Crucible Convoy SEALS

1. At spawn point one, head toward the vehicle sized open fence. Once out, you should notice a hill on the road to your right. Plant M2 mines on that road and camp on that hill. There is also a small hole next to the hill opposite the hill. You can also sit there. At either one of these places, watch the road. The terrorists have to take this road if they go to either load zone, so try to snipe a driver out of a vehicle before they hit the mines. The mines are mainly backup just in case they get past you. Your main targets the mines need to hit are the tank and the cargo trucks. The technicals tend to be annoying since they blow up your M2's and they dont blow up, so try to get them before they get by the m2's. You could also have more teamates plant mines at your spot because the cargo trucks also get lucky sometimes and your mines dont destroy them. The tank can be a major threat, so the hole next to the hill works best since it usually dosent see you there. Two M2 mines usually set a tank on fire. It also helps not to have a guille suit on since it weighs you down too much.

2. Spawn at spawn 2 with c4 and head to the extraction. Keep going and your path soon will be blocked by a wall. Plant c4 there and youll be outside. Go to the dropzone and the terrorists should be gone off to rush the mountain. Do whatever you want here. Plant M2 mines, camp with a sniper, set an At4 ambush or just try to come behind the rushing terrorists.

3. At spawn point 2, go to the terrorists spawn and bring heavy weapons. When you come out of the cave watch for snipers and head for thier spawn. If they left a technical thats perfect, use the turret and destroy a cargo truck that is usually left behind. If they didnt leave a technical, use the heavy weapons you and your teamates have. If the terrorists took all vehicles or left only one technical behind, drive/run to the cargo trucks or come behind the terrorists.

4. Having tank problems? Get on the seal mountain with AT4s. When the tank comes below you, shoot the top of it with AT4s. Sometimes only one will destroy it.

Killing Fields Demolition (SEALS/Terrorists)

Required :
Assualt
Heavy Gunner
Sniper

Game Play : Assualt spawns at 3 he grabs the car and heads to the town. While the heavy gunner runs and grabs the bomb while sniper covers. When the car approches the sniper jumps down gets in the car and so does the heavy gunner. You can either head all the way to the back crack of the terrorist base or from the way where the terrorist cars are. (Ditch The Cars Far Enough From Their Base) <-- This will prevent them from seeing the cars on their Mini Map. Now get the sniper to take a position in the back so he has a clear view on the Bomb Door. Assualt and Heavy Gunner both go inside throwing a flash in and clearing left and right. They plant the bomb and you pretty much won. Because if someone will try to open the door the sniper in the back will pick him off.

Tidal Fury Boat Assault Play (for either SEALs OR Terrorists)
By Wand3rer

NOTE: the directions on the map do not correspond with the actual in-game directions (i.e. North is NOT "up" on this map).

original map image courtesy of pcpopper.com

Purpose/Description:
This play is for any mode of gameplay in Tidal Fury (except Small of course), more specifically for SEAL teams that want to get to the Opposite side of the map (which is the enemy spawn) ASAP. This gameplan extremely relies on stealth and driving/piloting skill.

When to use:
This Play is best executed in the very beginning of a round, however it might work at any other time when you have access to a boat and you know that the opponent is far away from you along the shoreline. An example would be taking a boat with the Bomb in Demolition to the enemy base.

Routine:
In the above picture, there are two main colors (for each team), each color corresponding to a team:
(Blue = SEALs, Red = Terrorists).

Blue (SEALS) -
At the instant the round starts, book it to the SOCAR (the SEAL boat). Hopefully you will have a small group of other people with you when attempt to do this, but this is very easy to do this yourself.

Once you get settled on the boat, kick the throttle and sail alongside the outer wall of the map. Be sure to let everyone in the boat know that they are to keep their guns "quiet" and not to fire unless they find someone out in the water and not on the shore. If they fire, it creates a large red arrow and compromises the stealth, as well as gives Terrorist snipers a large yellow dot in the fog to shoot at.

If you have other boat crew members and you feel like causing Hell, or if many of your team is moving along the shore, you can help pave the way by deviating from the wall (as shown in the above picture as the thin, curved blue arrow) to let your turret gunners have at the terrorists on the shoreline, but when the fishnet walls (circled in orange on the above picture) come into sight, you must turn away back to the wall of the map . If you do not want to do this (it's not wise to do this repeatedly because a boat is very easy to shoot at), you can just hug the wall for as far as you want to. There is also a possibility of running into an enemy speedboat while performing this plan, but hopefully you can handle it. The driver should be keeping an eye on his or her radar at all times just in case.

There are two ways you can go about infiltrating the Terrorist base:

1) When the large stone off in the distance (in the picture above, the large stone is the black circle by the two Terrorist Boats at their spawn), stop the boat by slamming the reverse button and have everyone in the boat disembark and swim underwater to the shore from behind the stone. The reason that you stop here is because it is as close to the shore as you can get before a Terrorist can see the boat off in the distance (if they see it they will know you are there and the stealth will be compromised). From here you swim in and go around the stone and hit the beaches. From here you are able to clear the base in any way you see fit, and if you did it right the Terrorists will have absolutely no clue that you are there (unless you gave them some kind of sign).

2) If the beach idea has not worked (I suggest using the beach idea first) or if you do not want to do it, you can go entirely around the Terrorist base and come at it from behind. Instead of stopping at the stone, you keep hugging the outside wall with the boat and go around into the small patch with the two trees. If you line yourself up right (it's not that hard, actually), you can weave left and right around the two trees in your way and park the boat in the alcove (shown in the picture above as the very top blue line by the "S" symbol). From here, you can swim back around or go through the sidepath behind the village. Once again if you did this correctly, the Terrorists will have no clue that you are there (unless they were at the water's edge of the beach, which is very unlikely).

Red (Terrorists) -
At the instant the round starts, book it to one of the boats. Hopefully you will have a predetermined crew of people with you, but it's no problem if you don't have it because this is very possible to do by yourself (however the stealthy parts will be tougher than if you were a SEAL).

When you hop on the boat, you are free to cruise by the shoreline to let your turret gunners have at any SEALs running along the shore (the path is shown in the picture above as the thin, curved red line extending from the thicker one toward the shore.. However, this is not very wise and therefore not recommended since the boat has more seats than turrets.

The wiser thing to do is to hug the outermost wall with the boat and sail around the SEAL's village (or stop early and swim in underwater, shown in the above picture as the thin, arrowed red line pointing to the SEAL shore). This way you will have a very stealthy approach to the SEAL base much like how the SEALs have at yours.

-=-=-=-

By taking these paths and performing this strategy you have the very simple and efficient method of infiltrating your opponent's base very early on in the match when they do not expect you. You can go around the ENTIRE enemy team's forces undetected and hit them all from behind while they are climbing up the mountain or crossing the swamp. Most times, SOCOM 3 players will not expect a fight coming from the water (even though this is what distinguishes the Navy SEALs from all other Special Operations groups). It's best to use this to your advantage.

Harvester Convoy Terrorists Gameplan

On this map communication and teamwork is key. Because you have several factors working against you. Which I will now list:
*Only one equipment slot. Because one is locked with c4
*Breachs to blow that create bottlenecks that you must get through.
*Both loading zones are within 45 second walk from each other. So good snipers can cover both of em without a problem.
*You only have 5 mins so the trucks must be loaded and moving towards the drop zone by 1 min or you will lose. Even if u have 6 terroists alive and one hiding seal you will still lose when the timer hits 0:00.

In order to beat the seals on this map you must communicate with one other to outsmart them. This usually isn’t hard because the seals usually play it like a suppression map and camp the load zones.

Spawn 1
There are two spawn points. Spawn point 1 has the vehicles. So most of you should spawn there. (At least 10-12 no less) You should dedicate 2 players to drive the convoys. They should be veteran drivers of convoy maps that know where to go and know all the alternate routes. Someone who knows how to drive the convoy will also know wat do with the cargo truck if the plan has gone bad.

Equipment:
You only have one equipment slot. So I let you know what you should use for this map. He grenades or Smoke. The reason is that you need smoke is to move
the convoy trucks without getting sniped. And you need HE's to blow up m2 mines Because if the seals get smart and use m2's you cant blow em up with regular m67's. So if you carry an assault rifle, carry some HE's also to blow up mines if your teammates call em out. (Someone on this site said flashbangs can blow em up also but I am not 100% sure on that one. Which would be a great alternative bcuz they’re lighter.)
Here’s how I feel about Ghilles suits on this map. Don’t equip them unless you know for sure you are going to be silent for the entire round. Because now you cannot carry smokes or HE grenades because you have no available slots.

Spawn 2
There should be no more than 6 of you at this spawn because the objective is to move the convoys. But your objective is to blow all breaches on this side of the map. So head straight to the double breaches and blow them first. Or head through the caverns and go straight to the breaches. Watch cautiously for snipers on the right of the field near the house. Blow the breaches so if your team decides to drive the convoys right they won’t get held up when they get over there. I’ve seen this happened many times. The Terrorists get to the right breach and get picked off mercilessly when they stop the truck to blow the breach. This is one deadly bottleneck. So clear the area. If you’re team moves the convoys though here to the far breach; use barriers from snipers.
After you’ve blown the breaches your job now is to clear out the hill from snipers. It is the hill overlooking the far load zone. I can guarantee you 100% there will be at least 4 seals in this area with Sr-25’s and ghille suits proning in the grass. Use the wall on the left overlooking the area to see if you see any movement in the grass. You probably won’t see anything. But nevertheless have you and couple of guys go out there to kill anything u see in the grass. Hug the wall on the left while running towards the barn there maybe a guy by proning near the tree. Clear it out. If you sure this area is clear from snipers tell the convoy trucks to go to the far load zone. It is the closest load zone to the drop zone.

Spawn 1 continued….
At spawn one head up to the breach and blow it as fast as you can. Call it out by saying on the mic "Breach Hot!" Which most players know not to approach it. The seals can rush you in two ways by the two ledges or by the windmill from the left so be cautious. Rush though the right breach and try be very catious of seals camping in the grass on the left or right. Don’t walk down the middle of the road either go left or right. You can get sniped by someone down by the house. Use the big caverns as barriers to block the snipers view. Make sure to kill any seal you see trying to plant mines.
Make sure the first area is clear from enemies before you get ready to move.

Now move the convoy trucks through. Again move em either left or right using the walls as barriers from snipers. Have at least one sniper come down and scope the barn area for enemies and mines. If you are on foot Use the house as a barrier so the snipers won’t get you and then make a run for the barn running erratically. Once at the barn tell ure teammates to bring one of the trucks to it. But while ure there. Clear the barn area. Go inside and take out anyone you see. Go around back and clear it. Go all the way around back. Go up the hill area by the tree and scope inside the barn to see if anyone is in the attic.

Driving and extracting the convoys
Whoever is driving the convoys should always watch the convoy truck like it’s a toddler. To protect it from enemy fire. You should never stray too far from it. When told,, or by your better judgment move the truck to the barn.

If you are the second driver of another convoy truck move it to the other load zone even if it’s not clear. This is a suicide mission but you’ll split up they’re fire if both of them are heading to different load zones. Ure main objective, though suicidal, is to drive to the far load zone jump out make sure u hit x on the cargo first to get it to start loading. Then use the truck as cover. You want to hide behind the truck facing the hill because that’s where the snipers are most likely to be.

Make sure you have smoke because that’s your best weapon against snipers. Throw one when it’s loading by the driver seat and when it’s fully loaded. Throw the last one where you plan to drive through to get to the drop zone. Move the truck driver’s seat past the edge of the barn. Again you’re using barriers as a defense. The instant the truck is loaded jump in it and haul A$$ the same way you came in towards the drop zone. Or if time hinders you head to the second set of breaches. If one of teammates is in the area tell them to jump in the passenger’s seat. He is ure best friend now because if you are getting shot at by someone on foot, his job is to jump out of the cargo truck and kill them or if you get sniped his job is to jump in the driver seat and continue to the drop zone. Do not wait for ure buddy; keep going. He's only distracting them from you.

(Note: once you are heading back to the drop zone tell ure teammates that you need them all to head to the drop zone. Their job is to keep it secure from snipers and mines and etc. A good seal team will head back to ure drop and stop u by any means.)

While in the open area swerve the truck side to side every half a sec. This will make it hard for snipers to pick you off. When you make it to the bridge there is a shortcut on the left of the bridge where the water is shallow enough for you to drive through. Go through that area and keep going to the drop zone at full speed. If you get sniped while the trucks within feet of the drop zone it’ll roll in and you will still WIN!!!

Harvester SEALS Convoy

1. At the load zone at the barn it is very narrow and its a perfect spot to plant M2 mines. Usually 2 mines will make a cargo truck smoke badely or even catch fire. Have a teamate or your self finish it off with an AT4. It is also usefull to plant more M2 mines with a team mate. That usually blows up a cargo truck instantlly.

2. Quickly rush to the c4 breachs near the out in the open load zone. Find a narrow road and plant M2 mines there with team mates. You can also divide them into many sections along the road. That way if a technical comes first followed by a cargo truck, you can destroy both.

3. A good way to watch the barn load zone is go to the top floor of the barn with a sniper/assault gun. (M14) You can also see the other load zone if you have a high scope. A M14 dosent have the range to shoot that far though. This spot also helps if you only planted two M2 mines. (tip one) You can finish off a cargo truck surviver from there. Just make sure you stay away from windows. You might get sniped.

4. There is a ledge next to the c4 breach where the terrorists can rush the barn. Spawn near there and rush that ledge. If you get there quick enough. You can kill the terrorists before they get in the cargo trucks.

5. Next to the ledge in tip 4, there is a c4 bridge. Have you and a teamate plant M2 mines on that road. Dont plant them two close to the breach. Also plant some on the rock opening to the left. The terrorists usually drive through there
