RA-14 in single player
First off I don't know if this was already posted or not.
If you complete your 1P game on commander mode you unlock all the Seal and terrorists guns for use in single player. I have found that by using the RA-14 in captain and admiral modes helps you along the way a lot. First of all the RA-14 shares it's ammo with the AK-47 which almost every terrorist in 1P carries an "AK" of some sort, what I'm getting at is you basically don't need any ammo for the single player campaine. Second off is the fact that the RA-14 has a decent fire rate which favors this gun over any of the "AK's" and with that fire rate you can mow down enemies like a hot knife through butter.
I hope you find this usful in your quest to beat the sinle player mode on captain and admiral

I never had to worry about ammo in the single player mode anyway... headshots only use one bullet worth of ammo.

I love how when any other Seal gets on a car turret and manages to get 1 shot headshots while im driving. And to think people complain about their teammates...

As soon as I got all the guns I first grabbed the RA but I'm not big on it I like to snipe more. So I grabbed the M8 or whatever the seals sniper rifle is and could run through missions it was so easy one shot kill with the high scope.

No doubt... I agree with you. It seemed like my SEAL teammates had wayyyy better accuracy when they were manning a vehicle turret.
In the online aspect of SOCOM 3, I am rather accurate when it comes to manning a vehicle turret.

for me the only good use of the RA was for 'run and gun' type missions where theres quite a few enemies in the area where you dont have time to scope them out. other than that, i just use the m16 or some other gun that has a decent range on it and scope enemies out and headshot them..it seems like it takes more bullets to kill someone offline than it does online (unless you headshot)

I found running and gunning was much easyer with the Sniper rifle and the pistol. The sniper rifle is great for open spaces and the pistol is good for the buildings, paths and tunnels.

Yeah the RA-14 is one of the best single player weapons. Or you can use the Ak-47 its self.
