It's a brand new disc and it is completely clean. I looked at it. I got the special edition version of the game so I don't know what's up here.
Very strange... this has never happened to me before. Not on the PS2 version OR the XBox version.
Perhaps try doing another side mission, save your game, and then try thisd mission again?? Other than that, I have no idea what to recommend...
I haven't touched the game in a few days. I have been busy playing Lord of the Rings: The Third Age (I love this game!!) but I can say that I have completed many other missions on the side and tried coming back to the beach party one with the same results. I'll try again later though.
off topic but what is this lord of the rings game for? could you make a topic for it?

It's an RPG game that is pretty cool. It is the first RPG game that I have extensivly played for a long period of time since FFX was released. Most of the good RPG games came out of PS one and that's it. Like I said, this game is pretty exciting. It follows the same story line as in the movies except you have your own fellowship and you follow just behind in the steps of the first fellowship and split up at certain points to gain tactical advantages at war times. Great game, I love it! I can make a topic for it if you want still.
but is it like warcraft wher eyou point and lick or do you get to do the fighting and such?
