EverQuest OA: Frontiers

Any1 here ever play EQOA: Frontiers for PS2. Its a pretty solid console MMO and is almost purely group-based. I played as a bard and just wondering if any1 else plays/played it.

i did, had a handful of 60's, dont play eq, it just got boring to me....

Yes a few of us have played it. Here are the main characters i played, just never play anymore so i retired them ..

Deadeye - 55 human Ranger almost done gettin Forester, went first 2 paths sword and last 2 paths bow. I actually found this to be most benificial for raids and soloing. (has CV and other assorted goodies )

Lufeng- 44 human Monk set on defensive path. I was setting him up for Sensei but never grinded it through..damn socom :P (has the lvl 48 Robe of the Master with alot of other rare robes etc(id say atleast 25) and a 2nd character bank of weapons,gear)

I must say for being my first MMORPG i did enjoy my time on it but then got hooked on socom. If it had voice chat like socom id probably still play but god i can only take so much typing...sometimes things just arent as funny by the time you type it out :P But it had its ups and downs. I was going to sale my characters since it had a cv but was too lazy and just retired them.


I played on the Hodstock server.


A friend of mine still plays on there he has a 60 Lych(Necro) named Illwill so if you play on hodstock look him up. He is a night owl as well so would either play when he gets off in the mornings anytime after 7am eastern or on his night off anytime. Also he types g00d!! :P lmao

Level 60 Elf Mage(elf MC, then aero)
Level 60 gnome mage(geo)
Level 60 erud mage(geo)
Level 60 human monk(ninja)
Level 43 Halfling war
Level 60 Delf Nec(defiler)
Level 60 Human Nec(mercenary)

and I leveled my friends 60 Mage(pyro) and 60 wiz(sorcerer)

For the love of god.... Did you "dual box" or something? Cause to get 60 on all those characters and mca's would have taken forever if not. Also what were the names of the characters and what server by chance?-Lu

no sir, no dual box, i leveled my friends mage and wiz, and the halfling war, and most of the nec(friends finished), the human nec a friend used quite a bit, but i xp'd 50-60, he just used to raid i xp'd most of the monk, friend quit and left it, i leveled the erud mage myself, and the paladin, and the ogre war, and the elf mage

the monk, elf mage, erud mage, human nec, was all on ppo

war, pal, other war, wiz, other mage, and whatever else i left out, was on dh, sec, pm'ng you

Hey all, I used to play EQ. I got bored of it, really quickly - then I got hooked on WoW, I liked it, but it was sooooooooooo expensive $$$$$$$$$$

Back on eq for awhile needed break from S3. Actually theres a good bit of people still playin and quite a bit of ole schoolers still that i use to know when we all started. Just got Forester MC tag this morning and am 3 yellows from 56 so on my way to 60. So if any of yall play on Hodstock server give me a yelp :P
