Major Problems with game (technical)
Ok, my socom disc doesnt have one scratch or smudge on it. Yet the music in my game skips quite frequently. Also, after playing a few rounds, one round i will join late and my crosshairs will be 50 times bigger than they should be. I dont think its my ps2, becuase it has no problems running any other game or anything, and i dont think its my internet because it has always worked fine with my router and what not and i never had problems. Now, out of the blue, my crosshairs are huge and my music skips. And to top it all off, my mic stopped working. HELP!!?!?!?

i have never heard or seen what you are talking about.. maybe you have a defective disc?

the music does skip sometimes just like in socom2 but it rarely happens in socom3... the oversize crosshairs sounds funny :) but i have never seen this int he game....

Take the disc back and try and get a new one... and see if thats fixes it.. i cant think of any reason why a defective PS2 would casue somethign liek this, it has to be the disc

the PS2 is obviously not defected. I have experienced a defective Demo disc that came in the mail in some magazine.....I just simply called the people, told them what was wrong with the disk ( it wouldn't play some of the demos) and then they sent me a new one within some time....see if you can do that with Zipper.

May be time for a new PS2. I had one about 4 years old....and they start to overheat because of dust accumulation. I bought a new one, and my troubles went bye bye. Check with your local EB games and see if they can provide advise on cleaning, there are some kits out there. I got a good deal on a new one, so I didn't bother.

The Large Crosshairs Glitch is only a glitch, not a flaw in the disc.

I used to post here, others have this problem.
