yes it is worth it and y are u playing it on lutenent. y not go right to commander from the start. yes it is still very easy it took me 5 hours to beat commander. then it took me 4 hours to beat capt. now i am on admrial and it is still very easy.
all you people are good at single player i suck horrivly at single player i'm still on the 1st all stealth mission in poland and i'vre only beat the game on ensign
It is all on your opinion if you enjoy online game play with whatever customs you have and you don't care if you have the front grip, the stg and IW then no you don't need single player. I myself think the ghillie suits are sexy so I want to beat the single player so I can have them.
single player is easy.
socom 3 is the first socom I've owned, and I just completed it on Admiral last night.
I love the AG-94 when you don't need stealth. Seriously... the scope doesn't even jostle as you fire...
The suits are so worth it if you can track a moving target online. I was playing Harvester demolition (seal) a week ago and owned the terrorists as they tried to infiltrate my base to plant the bomb: Prone on the other side of the road, m16 w/high scope, claymore inside the ruins. they came over the hill (I was sniping there last round lol) and I got one before they knew it, the other as he looked around, and then gunned down the other while strafing.

yea its worth it i've had people literally walk over me and not see me last night i died and watched a player he was literally sitting on top of a seal (we were terrorists) for like 5 seconds then the seal turns around shoots him once and takes half his health this guy still didnt notice him so he turns around and runs later to get killed by the same guy i think
med scope is the best, front grip love it, stg my best friend, iw powerful but its a heavy mofo
yes the ghille suits are the bomb its really hard to see you when you go prone in bushes for instance this one time i was playing harvester and i was walking around and i thought i got stuck on something but i looked down and it was actually another person so i naturally took out my desert eagle and gave him 2 right in the back the only thing bad is that if theyre using a thermal scope its a lot easier too see you
