Fireteam understands redneck only!

My boss, who also plays SOCOM3 warned me of this when he talked me into getting S2 a long while ago. Well, now that I'm past the newbishness of the series what he told me has finally come to pass now that I'm playing S3. Fireteam only understands redneck.

The other day I said a "Fireteam, fire at will" in plain English. They told me they had no idea what I was talking about. So I said it again another 4 times and they just thought I was nuts. Well, I remembered what my boss told me and spoke Redneck to them and they said "Yes, sir!" I spoke redneck so fluently that I couldn't even understand myself.

Try it. It works. "Farteem, far et wheel!"

What you don't realize is that you might speak with an accent. Say it very slowly and pronounce every syllable.

Btw, I didn't start this topic to bash "rednecks", hell, many rednecks are proud to be one, and they will tell you so. It was an observation. Afterall, I'm becoming a redneck as time goes by It's just too hard to escape the accent. I've lived up and down the East coast all of my life, most recently NY, FL, MA and now NC and I don't really give a rat's *** what people call me.

Stop reading my initial post as a bashing statement, b/c that is the wrong tone to read it with.

Being a redneck runs my life, everything I do, when I'm at work or off, revolves around my southern pride. A lot of people bash me at work because I have a few shirts that have rebel flags on them, and I have to explain to every new guy and every guy who doesn't know me and asks that it's Heritage, it isn't hate.

I grew up in central florida, the same trailer for the last 7 years of my life(live with my older sis and her husband in their 4 bedroom house now), and for the other 11 years of my life, moving every few years, only lived in one house my entire life, and I've never been more proud of my family or myself then I am now, growing up I was always worried about what other people thought of how I was raised, and brought up, but over the past 2 years or so, I've realised that having pride in your home, and yourself and your family is what this ride is about.

Everyone thinks every man who wears Wranglers and a cowboy hat is just a racist, which is completely untrue, I actually have black in my family, my father went to an all black school, my fathers basketball coach in highschool is like my other dad, I was best friends with all the black kids at my highschool, and had more black friends than white. I played baseball for many years, and 1/2 the time my friend Artez ended up staying with my family for a few months. Don't jump up and think we're all racist, because we're not, no one likes N-bomb's, we do not mind black people, there's a HUGE difference between the two.

I love having my pride in where I'm from, and I love my black friends just as much as I do my white friends. I've taken a black friend or two to rodeo's, and took them mudding with me before.

I realise this thread wasn't redneck bashing, i just wanted to get that **** off my chest, and vent a little had a long day at work
