Ya no ****, all noodie does it post negativly. You guys have to remember that guns are less accurate while runing, moving, or even standing. This info does not account for lag either. No matter what zipper intended, if its lagging, it may not happen that way. So noodie you just need a new connection, and know your info before you post stuff. Zipper made it xlear in serveral interviews that it is designed to be less accurate if you are moving or running. And getting hit from a shotgun could always be the thin chance of getting a lucky head shot.

Good post. And some good follow ups explaining why you may not experience EXACTLY what the data says. Head, torso and extremity shots all cause a different reaction. So sure, a shotgun at 50 meters can kill you if a buckshot catches you in the temple. If you're the "shooter", it's pretty tough to accurately tell where you hit (no matter how good you think you are)... if your the "shootee", it's even tougher. Plus, how many people know where their health bar is at all times? You take a couple hits early and forget.. so when the next guy drops you with an F57 to the leg it's "OMFG Socom Sucks!". The list is a great place to start. After that, the choice depends on the map, the situation and your skill level.

Yeah the piggyback guide is terrible with the weapons, considering they say the IW-80 and the M14 are exactly the same gun... hmm maybe they should have looked that over again.
Only thing seems weird to me would be the 3 shot shotgun kills... always seem like 2 shots to the chest for me...

Well, it really sucks that Zipper made all guns so similar in power (considering your stats are accurate). But again like others have posted, shooting while on the move, the number of people playing, weapons being used and lag plays a great factor.
But again, it really g@y of Zipper to make guns so.... identical in kill power. Well, all those reviews about Socom 3 Seals weapon being more accurate and Terr being more powerful is full of crap.
All your data might seem wrong or are actually wrong but its too hard to tell since again playing in a real room is completely different than playing in a controlled test room. But great work on the guide, guys :D
Hmm is there a difference in damage done in fast consecutive hits to farther apart hits?

anyways, coming back to the topic at hand,
firstly, great job! may I ask how long it took you?
also, what that dude said about the 50 cals, i've seen that happen aswell.
NOw, its quite easy to see if you hit your target or not (when sniping), and i have notice it too, that sometimes, at far far far ranges, the 50 cals need 2 torso shots to kill.
At first, i would think that i had missed, but you can clearly see a blood stain appear as you shoot em (if you hit that is).
Im just guessing that the further away your target is, the less damage the bullets do, until it does none and you are "officially" outta range.
Also, to whom ever said that assault riffles fire at least 200m, well, .50 cal BMG bullets can travel 1000+ meters. so technically, with a clear line of sight, on say killing fields, you could kill people across the map. I guess zipper just had to draw the line at some point...
