Getting Bravo to use secondary weapons?

I know you can get able and bravo to deploy their various grenades and such from the command menu...however, I can't get my fireteam to use things like antitank weapons or their secondary weapons from the same menu. Is there a trick or command that I'm missing? Thanks for any and all help.

Just tell them to fire at will, I've seen my teammates fire at-4's a few times without me telling them to. I'm not sure about 203's though

i think they'll only use there secondary weapons when they're out of ammo. i've seen jester in brewed chaos w/his pistol out, cuz he didnt have any more bullets in the machine gun.. the .48 i think?

You have to tell them to use M203. AT-4 They will use on there own. But face it they arent the sharpest tools in the shed.

in socom 1 and 2 you could give them grenade launchers and then not give them any grenades, then they'd use their pistols.......in those games I noticed they'd waste time switching to handgun when suddenly in CQC.....dunno about socom3.....

i think they just use the secondary pistol as a last resort if they run out of ammo. i've seen a few guys throw frags in a firefight before and they use at-4's on vehicles, but other than that i'm not sure.

if they got into a firefight in s2 and they were a sniper they sometimes woulda got out their pistols. ive yet to see em do it in s3. and dont trust jester with an at-4 unless you need to. hlaf the time he takes out the entire team (before the convoy appeared in deep strike, i hear "seals team has been incapacitated" after an at-4 shot, i look around and jester shot the ground.)

also bravo sucks when you tell them to mount vehicle. i did it once in deep strike, they stood there, didnt drive, i got to the tower, told them to follow, and they just appear out of thin air as soon as i said to follow

I think that sometimes, especially in the vehicle situations, you can get Fireteam to use AT-4's by having your own out. On Deep Strike (Commander), I was scuttling along with my AT-4 out, and somebody else targeted the vehicle before I even drew a bead... (yes, I did have Fire At Will on)

I do agree, though, that there needs to be a way to tell Fireteam to equip the "big guns" when about to move into a major battle area (like the last stand in Brewed Chaos). Let's cross our fingers and hope they catch in a Zipper (lol)

Yeah as long as theyare on fire at will they will use their AT-4's when needed.. But I dont think they always need to at times, like when they killed me with a backblast while I was in a scope.
