I finished the game last night on the "Commander" difficulty... in one (couple hour long) sitting.

Next mission: Admiral difficulty

I've also finished the game.

I love the game except for two major things:

• SOCOM 3 should have had more chapters in it in comparison to SOCOM 2.
• SOCOM 3's squad AI is a frikkin joke in comparison to SOCOM 2.

And while the game still is addictive (for now), I would like to say that this is
one of THE BEST musically/theatrically scored games of it's type........ever. I
only wished that, while the maps are truly amazing with 16VS16, I feel like the
single player was TOO SHORT, and because of that, we don't have enough maps
(or variety) for online. And again, while the maps are probably taking up a
majority of the disc space, I still feel like there could be more content for a
game I paid $50 for.

i cant believe its taking u guys 6 to 8 hours to beat the game on commander. i even took my time on a few of the missions and it only took me 2 hours and 41 minutes. the last level took me a while. 30 minutes i think.

i beat it the first day it came out just to lazy to post lol. the game was good i give it a 9.5/10. there was some things i liked about the game and not like about the game. good thing was, i picked up a iw from THE BALANCE mission (CHA SOLDIERS) and it gave me infinte shots until his body disapear. the bad thing about is that your damn fire team dont do anything!!! a terrorists knocks me down with a TA and my fireteam watches the terrorist kill me. i told them fire at will. they are noob. i might sound like an idiot but jester or somebody in my team teamkilled me like 5-8 times. belive it or not im not joking. :D :D

well i just beat it on admiral and now I was averaging 10 mins a mission on that difficulty. after Captain you have every enemy's patrol memorized and know 6 different ways to complete the mission. Just use the M16 w/ high scope and you wont have any troubles

The reason its taking some of yall 2-3 hours is because you just run through the game unlike the others. It probably took me about 4 hours but I played really stealthy. I played for about 9 hours and finished with admiral even though I started by accident on lieutenant. I think that the M4A1-SD is the best gun for single player for all 3 socoms.

I beat the game... i am impatient so i dont do goood at the stealth missions. i run through and just gun most of the times. but i beat the game on ensign, lieutenant, commander and i am working on captain. but it takes me like 2 hours if i dont screw to beat the game. like 12 minutes a lvl.

I beat the game in like 2 days on ensign. The game was crazy, loved the customizations, and everythign else!

There not the same, the enemy's a.i is alot better for each time you play a higher rank.

I beat it!! I like it alot was really fun, the last mission made me so mad lolol it took me like 20 trys to beat it.finished all levels except admiral in less than 4 hours each.I like how the online and single player missions are similar.
