The airburst is a ranged weapon that will explode at a preset yardage. On your range finder if you see a target, you can set the airburst to that yardage and it will explode at that yardage. I forget how to set it, I think you click the right thumbstick when you have it selected, but I cannot remeber exactly. The airburst is useful if an enemy ducks behind something. Simply set the range for the object they ar using for cover and aim above it. Boom they're dead... really useful weapon at times

It is measured by meters. What you do it aim at your target, hold the fire button (in my case, it's R1), and then it will lock on and you will hear a tiny beep and the word "Locked On" will appear where the distance meter was. Then you just press fire again.

I know it's measured by meters, but I didn't feel like saying distance, and meterage would just be stupid. :D

Well since when can a SEAL (or terrorist) lob a grenade over 70 meters

? It's a very useful piece of equipment. It cuts down on aim-time and increases accuracy. Although, I must say, the explosives in the grenades are very weak (compared to that of the GL-32 and the M203).

in the mission with the peacekepers where youhave to defend the outposts (cant remember what its called). i already used my at4 on a group of terrorists cowering behind the hills. then a tank popped up and bravo just wasted it with their at4 so maybe you have to use yours for them to use theirs.

i played sc2 and gave the team an M203. i selected "deploy" and it sayed "frag2." so i selected it and the guy ran up and shot out an M203. maybe thats how in sc3.
select deploy on the command list.

I take it you can only be killed by backblasts in single player? One of the funnest things for me in S2, was having my teammates kill me with backblasts, I've tried online with S3 with friendly fire on and have yet to be killed :(

It is possible, but is very hard to do, I miss running up behind snipers and pulling out my AT-4 and backblasting them or even doing it to people in a gun fight. Once (in s2) i shot my rpg ,down the alley that goes to the fishmarket in crossroads, because I saw someone. Well it turns out that I got him but I also got someone .who was coming to help the guy because he must have spotted me, with a backblast :) i was OMFG ROFLCOPTER PWND
