Can Fireteam Snipe?

Nah different from me. They usually jump out of the way. Sometimes get hurt but rarly.

This may just be my imagination, but it seems to me that how well my team performs depends on how well I'm performing. In other words, if I'm playing well, my team plays well. If I'm not playing well, my team won't either.

For instance, if I waste six shots missing a tango trying to kill him, my team won't hit anything. On the other hand, if I snipe three running tangos with only three shots, my team starts picking off enemies left, right and center.

Like I said, though, this might be my imagination, but it's happened enough times that I'm convinced it's true.

One thing that doesn't change is my team constantly running toward the grenade I just threw, and then getting killed from it. What's up with that?

Well, the A.I. is based on what you do as the team leader. And I have never had the problem of them running towards my own grenade (then again, I don't really use grenades).

my fireteam guys are dumbasses. they dont do anything. if were in a firefight they just shoot at random places and dont hit anything. they also dont shoot at enemies and usually dont follow commands. i always end up doing all the work.

Yeah, that's what I thought. So, I guess your team's performance is based on your own. Does this sound right to anyone else?

That complete bull. I play socom 3 with complete realism. I usually have the M4A1-SD with medium or 4x scope. I hide and only use one shot to kill an enemy. No matter what, my teammates can't hit a single target. I just use them for bait so that the terrorist focus on them rather then me.
