Can Fireteam Snipe?

Have you seen the fireteam actually snipe anything in S3? There use to be a hidden command 'snipe', and they use to actually use it on their own if told to 'fire at will'. But I haven't even seen these idiots use their sniper rifle yet! Let alone actually make a kill with one.

ONCE. I was shooting at these two terrorists and one of my teammates had a sniper rifle. Boom! I see him drop the enemy with a headshot. Other then that, I never even seen them raise the gun.

It means what it says...Cover-the-target. Basically give surpressing fire towards the nearest target.

As long as you give it to the fireteam member who is designated as an "expert marksman" then yes. I'm quite sure it's always the 3rd member of your team. Give him a rifle and he'll use it. Quite well too.

Read the character descriptions guys...that's what they are there for. The last character i believe is the marksman who will use the sniper, the 3rd is a demo guy who will use explosives, and jester, well i forget what he is good at other than getting in your way.

your the marks man, jester is the close quarters guy, and the third is also a marks man. the fourth varies. jester used to eb the heavy weapons in socom 1 if im not mistaken.

and has anyone heard of any secret headset commands yet?

I don't understand what they mean by demo. The character is good at throwing granades? And don't get the CQB skill. Good at using submachine guns?

My fireteam has always given me some support, but almost none. They seem to die in the dumbest ways but sometimes will drop a bigt kill. The team AI needs tweaking I guess.

The majority of the time that my Fireteam members get killed is from a grenade. They yell "GRENADE!", but they don't dive out of the way in time because they are too busy trying to follow me as I dive out of harm's way. I've only had a member die from a bullet wound once, I believe.
